Don't worry about this bunch of window lickers mate, I know exactly what you mean. We get it bushing to, rabbits that instead of running, try to sneak slowly away through cover or for ouch down and sit tight in cover for a few seconds. As long as no dog or ferret is in the line of fire, it can be very effective, often head shots from only a few feet.

Aye, keeps me busy, in between the other stuff. Got some good land around me, but if you want to go home with game in the bag, you need dogs that can really hunt, and aren't afraid to range. Not a huge number of rabbits but plenty of other stuff The hound has helped a lot, at least in the sense that I can follow some of the hunt better when I get unsighted in the woods

The crap quality of the photos doesnt do it justice NL. Doesn't help that I was taking them with a phone as the light was fading. Had a good hunt this eve, must have run him 2 miles before he was lost. . . . in the dark haha.

Had a few good walks and mooches with the dogs recently, taking various combinations of mutts out on different trips. Had some good hunts and a couple of successes. Thought i'd share a few (mostly crap) photos, taken on my phone.

Glad there are still a couple up there to keep you entertained mate. I got a few things poking about here now, that need an eye keeping on. Got a wee pat bitch in the kennels at the moment as well, Give me a bell and we'll have a proper wander

You just need to make sure the horse is broken to dogs. . . . . Apart from that, should work fine. Game seems to kind of ignore a horse.

Nice one Ow. I put one up with Gwen and Finn today, hunted it right across the valley and eventually got it to ground in the dark. You should come up this was for a walkout. Need some cold weather though! The beast is looking bigger again matey!
