Some of you might remember that my girlfriend had a go at drawing my dog and did a pretty decent job. I got her to have a crack at my old mans spaniel in color. Taken on a phone.

Coursing was done with the landowners permission. The issues you mention are brought about by people with no permission to be on the land,the landowners/farmers dont want them on their land "trespassing in search of game" So Coursing gets blamed againY.I.S Leeview That was my point

To be honest I rarely hear anyone moaning about coursing being barbaric .....mostly the issue seems to be about its association with pikeys, the money element, driving land with no perm, the dog thefts, the groups of multiple lads and dogs and the plastering of it all over the Internet ......... Most folk don't give a rats arse about the hare, hence why they all get shot!

Depends on the arrangement malt. Also you have to consider that the shooting bloke pays the landowner rent, so the guy is unlikely to upset him and lose the income over a few rabbits. Also a lot of shoots we do just don't want us there till feb, understandably!

Out of interest bpr. . . . why does the thought of having any well known blood horrify you so much? I agree it's not all about fancy names etc and worker x worker is the way to go. But just because it's KC reg and has a well known pedigree. . . . does not automatically make it over rated and no good. . . .?

Cheers lads! Fod - that car has worse issues than a dirty footwell. It's the dog bus, it's been to every part of the uk, done 1000's of miles in pursuit of sport. It's got a dent in every panel, it's been shot twice, and the hound ate some of the electrics.....

I hope it gets sorted Mel. It's unusual that they are not sal x's. I'd be taking a serious look at your sons 'mates' and mates of mates, and anyone that knows owt about the dogs.

I agree there is a certain element of luck. However, some lines do appear to throw a slightly more robust type. Also, I guess, some are just slower and bigger and so less inclined to such extreme bangs.

Had some fun this morning, out with the mutts. Went to an area on the estate where sometimes you can get a good hunt. I had a good wander and some fun. In the woods, on my own, with the dogs, is my favorite place to be! I took a few photos on my phone, but most wouldnt upload to photo bucket.
