Always on the look out. Its hard trying to get a good place, there all taken. Keep my ears open though.... gimme a shout,ill exercise your long ears lol Some shoot this is going to be........Have to be near on my doorstep, abundance of rabbits for Ideation, thousands of hares for Scothunter and make me a living..... ......Anybody looking for stalking cause am sure there will be gold medal bucks running free on the place.......... We'll be like one retarded but happy family!

Still alot of pressure....more so maybe as there all the bosses days...... I asked if you counted none picked birds as that might give you a closer percentage to what your looking for mate. I didnt count them also when i had a shoot i just counted the bag at the end of the day. But i am now picking up at a shoot where each drive is logged in a wee book, the total in the cart is written down and beside that is the number of birds that weren't picked. Now i'm not talking about a tickled bird i'm talking about runners that are not picked and really hard hit birds that go miles away. I reckon

There is a difference between breaking the law and being a c**t/immoral. The two dont have to go hand in hand, but many forget this. I been caught/stopped a few times and usually after being polite and friendly have ended up with permission or worst case being allowed to pack up and walk away with no hassle. Even if they are a c**t - turning the other cheek is a good feeling, walk away and come back and take the game but leave the fences/barns/houses.

We need to raise the profile of our british game. It's sick that someone will spend 4 quid on a big mac but will turn their nose up at paying 2 quid for a whole fresh rabbit. Thats the world we live in mind. Sad. -

Depends on depth of warren, lay out of warren, number of rabbits, how experianced the rabbits are, how experianced the ferrets are, how much noise you have made, the weather and other factors.

You only took one when his back was turned. What about the others? Back up what you did with a face to face solution. But then at least one has a better life. Think i'd have done the same but would have taken both pups face to face.

If i was going to be doing a lot in a night, i'd stick a bottle of electrolytes or something in the truck and give the dogs a drink and top up when needed.

It seems harsh to lurcher lads to see this amount of hares shot, but it has to be done regardless of what anyone says. Farms cannot sustain this amount of hares and as the only LEGAL way of control is shooting that is what happens. In this quantity hares ARE vermin and without control the farm crops would be devastated, if dogs were legally allowed to course hares then I would imagine they would be having coursing days, not over a couple of days but months. I am not saying that there would be as many caught but you never know, would that still be cruel? some say that dogs should be allowed to
