    You shouldn't need to weigh a dog to know it's at it's proper weight, your eyes should be able to tell you all you need to know, if they can't you've got a problem. Just for you I've weighed my dog he's 24" tall and weighs 51lb. He's 3/4 grey/ 1/4 collie X whippet/ [3/4 grey 1/4 collie]. I fully agree with regards to condition mate, but when it comes to worming, you need to know weight in order to give an effective dosage. I'll be very honest with you mate.     Just like anything else, people lie and others doubt. You dont need a face full of scars to prove its a worker, thats just to make you feel tough. But on the same hand, i'd be scepticle of a dog that someone was saying had dispatched a large number of quarry that could bite back and had never taken a scratch.

    Hello. I'll start the ball rolling, by saying that, if the ferrets are asleep, then they may not know to move if over heating. I'd just make sure you can ventilate the shed if needed as heat can really build up sometimes. You can also, if your worried, make up a bottle with water, frozen, put in a sock and popped into their run.
