- Infliciting uneccessary suffering on anything when you HAVE the knowledge to do otherwise and ARE in a position to not inflict it is unacceptable. - There are far worse examples of the above than a load of pigs in Korea. - Very vocally 'not caring' is a good way to rile folk up - Most of those who moan and cry about it actually contribute to the suffering of such animals, but don't care if they don't have to watch it. - The idea that if you just look after yourself and your own, then the world will be a better place, is just stupid. jmo.

By the way kittlerox that donkey in the picture would get left for dead with my Merle Collie x and he is 10 year old. Aye well I,ve got a sal/grey here with shocking fxcking feet but I bet she could still beat your collie x even though it is a merle lol Look mate, everyone knows that merles go faster, so just give up. And for a farmer he has pretty piss poor species recognistion, i'd have sworn that was a dog.

I do think though that in the past when it was more open then lads probably served an apprenticeship with older men who would be more likely to teach them the right way of doing things. you say to prevent them producing more oil. the oil in their skin and coat isnt there to make them smell it has natural oils to help them stay healthy and keep their coat in a good condition im not saying you shouldnt bathe them its entirely up to you. but to wash away all their natural oils isnt going to do them any favours. same as humans we have oils in our skin we wash them away and our skin dehydrates and alot less healthy. plus the stench of the ferrets lets the rabbits smell them faster and get out them holes faster also avoiding any kill ins. Out of interest Tyla - do you think that there has always been this element and we just have not been aware of it because we didn't associate it, but now we sit and read / listen to the shit spouted by folk we would never entertain in person over the internet? Or is it a new thing? Has the ban played a major part in attracting the idiots? And finally, is it because with the net etc, it is now way more accessible and like everything, when it becomes wide open, it usually becomes f****d (look at any number of tropical islands, bands, popular movements etc).? I have 1 offer already, can't wait as it seems so far away. Will ask around just before start of the season, i'm sure i'll need as much training as the dog If that rabbits in that park are so chilled about dogs, i know where i'd be at about 4am, in a couple of months time, lamp in hand . . . .. . just to give the dog that one dumb sitter (I am obviously not suggesting hunting a park as this would probably be illegal, but who walks their dog at night without a torch?)

Every animals different, my pup was going off on scents and hunting from about 3 months, my mates only started to show any real interest at about 8 month. Both doing well now.

Talking about raptors has nothing to do with ferrets. Ones a animal and ones a bird and i have never seen dry food for raptors. As some who keeps a hell of a lot of animals i think i should know about feeding them. It more about Ideation attitude that worries me and make me think he should not be keeping ferrets. The r.s.p.c.a think was done in anger but i think i have hit a nerve. He sounds scared and knows it thats why he is keeping this thing going.
