Really mate? How about you state how you come to that conclusion? Or did you just pluck it out of the air because you've nothing better to do? Im no woman and i think alot of good could come from this thread. This site has gone downhill and lost alot of members who made it good because of the number of wasters on here now. If that can be reversed, and it sounds like the mods are going to try and do so, is that a bad thing? come on mate, get a grip its the internet. Most people on this site are idiots half of them kids and the other half arm chair hunters. Surely to god you have more im

Very good... Do you realise how daft it sounds moaning about having to pay more for the cost of living these days when the wages have more than gone up in proportion to make up for it? Despite the current economic situation, the general public's quality of life is much better now than it was when I was growing up... I don't know how you can say that anybody who can remember living through the bad times of the ''s has 'had it very easy indeed.' I think its a fair bet ratreeper kisses Maggies picture every night Malt Wonder what contribution to society he makes? Here' -

And you know this because ... Cos i signed up for uni thinking it would be a great academic experiance only to realise about 30 min in that they were a bunch of posh, rich, c**ts, who hated me. So i just went fishing instead. I still don't buy that we have it tough now, lets face it the kids i see whos folks are on benefits etc, always have a mobile (new), x box, latest trainers. Some have always and will always have it tougher / easier than others, but now theres a security blanket to make it all better. I think many folks expectations of what is 'neccessity' have changed, most -

I reckon less of the b*****ds should go to uni, all most of them do is get pissed and try to get laid, which they could do on the weekends and do some real work in the week. Does my head in, most of them don't give a f**k about what they are studying, its just a chance to not work, rack up a debt and party. Alright except that we're paying for it with tax, and when their done they cant get a job anyhow. -

Can't believe you two are arguing amongst yourselves, we're all getting f****d in the arse by the gov, so lets stick together hey. -
Did put this on your other post in pretty good detail mate, in case you missed it! P.S - Coursing reffers to running hares, and is now illegal, so you may want to drop that phrase in public.

at perms.. i go to the odd show but, mine get fed on fur and feather as well as dry.. and i Dont have a perm Its made of oils, i make and use my own for claw clipping, cleaning ears ect. . . . . you mean you don't have a perm . . . . . yet! and never will as my hair is too short.. do you have one or do you have a mullet Long haired hippy, so i got options, perm, mullet, who knows what the future holds, perhaps a permed mullet. I was actually refering to the ferrets being permed at first but hey. . . .

Aye f*****g weird that, no good a dog that wants nowt to do with dead bunnys, they are the easiest ones to catch, you want to steer well clear of the living ones, they run off and shit, inconsiderate little b*****ds . . . . . or maybe the dog aint a retard and understands that there aint no catching to be done with a dead rabbit. Better that, than he ran off into the garden and ate it. Also - why rabbits? With a pat x bull

Of course hunting is a million miles from a computer All i'm saying is that for a guy thats never had a good word to say about this place, your on here every day, and have made almost 6000 posts. You enjoy it on here, or you wouldn't be on here, simple. Your not the only hunter on here and your not tarzan or robinson crusoe, I think you have more in common with a lot of folk on here than you think Matthew. And i'm not giving you a hard time mate, i quite enjoy your patter and in amongst the drivel and repetition are some real gems!

Main difference for me between spaniel and terriers for cover work (in favour of terriers) is that they give tongue. Which if working HEAVY cover or forestry blocks, is real f*****g handy. Having said that i love spaniels, but most are ruined for owt else if run all the time, and straight off with lurchers.
-
Aye mate, but as folk who make money our of writing about hunting, you'd have thought you'd get the odd write up on here. . . . . maybe the odd photo.
-
moaning . . . . . all you ever f*****g do is moan mate. You seem to think EVERYONE apart from you, and EVERYONE on here certainly, is a moron. If thats the case, how come you dont go spend time with all the 'great folk' with their 'great dogs' that you always harp on about, rather than trawl on here everyday.

Is it just me or were all stewies posts on this thread pulled? Thats a bit wierd don't you think. How come the mods never post their days out, as from what i can gather they do a fair bit and the odd one is known to be able to string a sentence together

There is not an unlimited amount of land just waiting for a good shooter to come clear. If you work out the number of folk that wish to hunt rabbits or whatever in the many ways they do, divide the total huntable acreage of this country by that number, then you would probably get a shocking figure. There is not always more land, with more quarry just waiting for you. As a result, many folk want to do a good job, but also keep enough about to ensure they can come back to that land. As for 'invasive, non native' - so are most of our quarry, and lets face it, we are VERY lucky that they have

Funny thing is some dogs live their whole life balls to the wal and never get hurt and others get killed on their first run, thats just luck. Lets face it when you watch most dogs run (at least on the kind of land we hunt), every chase has a half a dozen moments when they could easily die, and you just have to watch and keep your fingers crossed. You have to do your best to avoid it and then not think - that way madness lies. On some of the land we hunt, it's steep slopes, lots of trees, fallen trees, large metal cables strung across and up and down at a couple of feet off the ground, the odd

Shooting dogs worrying sheep
Ideation replied to halloween man's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I hunt my dogs, and as such they sometimes cross land boundries, so there is a real chance that if quarry went through a hedge, into a field of sheep owned by someone else, then dog/s might/should follow. If they then proceeded to chase sheep and pin one, fair enough, if you cant shout them off, shoot them, but if they are just mooching up the hedge trying to find quarry, or crossing back across the field having lost the quarry . . ... and someone shot them. They might have to seriously worry about their livelihood. Yes dog owners need to be considerate of farmers, and build a -
Fair play to you mate, i just always get a laugh out of the idea that a land owner wants all of the bunnies gone right away cos they are causing a serious problem etc, and the 'pest controller' waltzes up in their real tree with an air gun, and has a walk about. If that was the only method someone was using, it's taking the piss a bit don't you think?
