In a shot. Funny thing with 'pest control' for dog men. . . .. really the farmer is doing you a favor, because if he REALLY wanted them all gone pronto, lurchers would be his LAST choice of method.

Ferrets will probably lap it up like crack, but then same goes for goats milk, egg, blood, mince, rabbits eyes etc etc etc. No harm in it, if thats your thing, but i reckon it's going to find its main market amongst those who's ferrets live on dry food, and go to shows, with perms.

Lovely looking pup, nothing wrong with letting him experience stuff at that age, but i'd try to avoid him blazing off after a bunny through a pine wood at 3 and a bit month, could be asking for trouble. But like i said, nowt wrong with him drinking it all in.

Devils advocate might say if you did the job well enough and didnt over stretch yourself landwise. . . .. then you should be able to get the job done during the winter months. But then again all land is different. At the end of the day, if folk are just walking the land, poaching, they don't care, and if folk are hunting their permission, you shouldn't care. So either way. . . .

Fair does, I know plenty who dont hunt and are indifferent but I live in the country. I'd imagine, I maybe wrong, your average city guy doesn't approve of hunting. Same. I'm not sure, your probably right, but i don't think most of them actually think about it, unless its rubbed in their face. I work with some folk from the city and while they may not be into it, and at the start of a conversation about hunting they are a bit against it, they usually have such a stupid idea of it, that if they are rational people and you and pleasant they turn around when they start to realise that t

That sounds so shallow. So basically your biggest gripes of the huntinglife is folk don't say how amazing your photos are and some folk give their pals reputation points sorry you dont approve mate. As stated further on in this topic. Stubby, magwitch, richie etc dont post there pics at all anymore. And that is a crying shame mate coz they were good. I however have choose to say my piece and i am sure they felt the same. Its ok if you think that is shallow of myself, i understand but when you put time to put a descent post together and nothing becomes of it, because theres an argu

The net and forums have definatly had a hand in making it all more public, but you can't blame a forum for the cretins that post on it, same as you can't blame the hunting community in general for the cretins that see themselves as part of it. Sadly many on the outside do. I think one of the things that has caused us problems is the 'each to their own, sort yourself out and ignore the rest', we should police our sport. But then again, as nice an idea as that is, it isn't ever going to work. As has been said earlier today its retarded when folk say 'lighten up its only the internet'. . . .

That guy sounds like a 'proper' dick head. However, by killing all the birds, it's not just him that suffers. If he is/was a keeper, then he has people he answers to, who you presumably could have contacted etc. I'm sure that there is more to the story as you have said, but by doing what you did, you probably ruined many peoples sport for the year just like he was ruining yours. I wouldn't mind doing a bit of that myself. The thought entered my mind when I seen the Paki's next door growing what look like Chilli's. You can grow stuff even if you only have a wee patio, wack some chillis, herbs and stuff in pots. Can't beat home grown stuff! i even but stuff in grow bags tattys and beetroot ,i,ve still got product left now my beetroot is top notch My other hobbies are. . . .. . dogs. . . . . ferrets. . . . reading, music, walking, climbing mountains, traveling, pottering about in the garden . . . .. .

An idea : if the site needs more decent write ups, and less shit slinging, why do the mods (who i am sure do a fair bit in the field) do some write ups of their days out. Might inspire some of the others to put up some decent posts. I know the mods are human, but you dont get many more decent topics from them, and see them spending plenty of time arguing with the bell ends.

My mate has loads of drainpipes stuck in the ground filled with compost and cut cut into them planted with strawberries. You can also grow potatoes in bin bags. Theres loads of ways of doing it. Tomatoes and salad stuff (greens, letuce, chives etc) are also easy

Foxes, stoats, buzzards, badgers, mixi, VHD, cars, cats. . . . . . o yer and dogs, guns, ferrets. You can't stop the dogs picking of the scuttlers tho can you, it's not exactly lamping. Does feel like a waste tho.
