Sadly mate, we have tools with rifles that are allowed to do it instead. . . .

O aye, it's a slow night. Just for the record, this now has nowt to do with if the original poster is telling the truth or not. It's just a more interesting discussion than most of the pish going on! But the lad did say he had several hobs in the court. I'm just waiting for someone to pipe up that their e.u poley once killed their neighbors Alsatian. Malt - i'm impressed, but did they have birth certificates?
-
They do say curiosity killed the . . . . . . . Malt - didn't know you were an international ferret exporter! The grab under the chin is what i was thinking of. Dead in seconds, total throat destruction.
-
Put it this way scott, i'm half confident with the right cat and ferret it could happen, but def not confident enough to ever try it with my ferrets. How about this, if a big hob managed to lock onto a cats throat, do you think the cat could die? i think the cat would tear the ferret to bits with its claws, could the cat die by the bite to the neck afterwards.im not sure.why i say this.is many years ago i witnessed someone tyng two cats tails together and hanging them over a washing line.it was like a scene from psycho.they f*****g ripped each other to bits.they are ferocious b*****d

Cheers mate, good luck tomorrow! I got bloody work. . . . .. might still get a half hour in the eve though. Got to keep the army fed!

Stabs whats the reason for the Pointer blood? Nose would be my guess.

Fairplay mate, worth a try, it'll make someone very happy, just make sure it doesn't go to a numpty, and you get equal (but opposite) in return. As said, if you don't understand what the man said. . . . . . your thick.

Cheers lads! Joe - that's the way of it ain't it mate, it's been the long long off season, and i can't wait to get back into full swing, but these wee trips are a real pleasure, i've missed it, as have dog and ferrets. ORT - Aye mate, he's not bad, leg is healed up, seems strong enough. We'll have to have a night soon mate and you can bring your midget as well, she really impressed me last time!

Cheers mate!

As unlikely as it is, it COULD happen, not saying it did, but it is possible. You spend enough time around ferrets and one day you get bitten, they bite hard, to the bone, and a big hob, locked on a cats throat shaking, the cat wouldn't last long. Would still expect some damaged ferrets mind.

Dotty - that ferret box is older than me mate, was my old mans and is a family heirloom! Jamie - cricket or ferreting . . . . . no contest mate!

More ferret food needed, so another quick trip out this evening for half an hour. Decided to take the same jill, the dog and a few nets. Went down the garden, jumped the fence into the woods, let the dog do his thing, and soon enough had a decent mark, on what i thought was one set, with another about 10/15 yards away. Netted up, turned the collar on, dropped down Tilly the terror, and off she went. Then i hear the bumpedy bump, but coming from the other fecking set, so it looks like over summer they have connected the two. Quickly dashed up to chuck my remaining couple of nets

FFS..............a ferret that cant fit down a hole......whatever next mate..... I know mate, they were going to get knocked on the head, so i took them to re home somewhere. They were pretty funny to be fair. I'm a big fan of ferrets, but i almost shat myself when they came out the box, i should have guessed as the box was a f*****g ridiculous size.
-
I usually wait until they are a good 6months old, and have stopped being so babyish and playing about. Size don't mean that much, it's metality. I put this up to a similar question before - might help - "Handle them a lot, get them used to you feet, the dogs, the nets, tubes, tunnels, the grass, going in the box, getting collars on. Pick them up from the mouth of tubes gently and calmly, so they don't mind your hand reaching for them at the mouth of a hole. Feed them and water them well, maybe introduce a whistle when you feed them. Do not starve them, thats stupid, poin

Lab - for real these two hobs were fecking stupid. Ended up going to a pet home with some mad old lady, they literally could not fit into a rabbit warren, they just got jammed. Must have been a good two and a half to three foot long. No shit! For the couple of days they were hear we were feeding them a whole rabbit each in a sitting.

tbh i cant see a any cat being killed by a fert mate,in fact id gladly put cash on that.maybe a kitten, but an adult cat cant see that.jmo dont take offense now lol My neighbors cat is a faggot, it's about the size of a large bunny. I once rescued two hobs that were bigger than it (by far). Could happen. . . . . . But highly unlikely without ferret casualties. Mind you it's amazing how quick a ferret can kill. Say kitty had one ferret pinned down in it's gob and paws and a second (ninja) ferret grabbed it by the throat, it may die before being able to dislodge the ni

Usually wait until after 1st frost, but if in a hurry you can stick em in freezer for a bit. The frost breaks em down a bit inside and makes them sweeter. -
Just a thought, and i don't really believe the lad, but you do get some very small, piss weak cats, and some very big hob ferrets, i could imagine in a confined space the cat dying, but i would expect at least one seriously f****d stinker, and i would think you would lose some eyes to the claws.
-
Aye, it makes it more difficult for the rabbit to judge the jump through the fencing when running, so they often turn. At least that's my take.
-
Come on guys, the lads grand daddy imported e.u poleys from western eurasia for 1000's of pounds, if they couldn't kill a moggy i'd be wanting my money back. P.S - Arsepca will think it was you not stinkers.
-
And this is meant to dispel the myth that ferrets are owned by wierdos???

Reminds me of ye and me mate.
