  1. I'm not sure i agree with you Moll. Granted, my lad is worked in all weathers, on some pretty rough terrian, and asked to face some harsh cover and obstacles, and he never backs down. But if he collides with something sharp, or just bounces off / over barbed wire, he usually walks away with some nasty skin tears, in the last 12 months, he has had four trips to the vets to be sewn back together. He is however i total nut job.

  20. The wee dog has been layed up for a couple of weeks, after cutting his foreleg open on some barbed wire while out ferreting, he had the stitches out monday and as well as lots of road walking has been having his first off lead walks this week, but taking it slow and trying to keep him away from cover etc as it is still a bit tender. Decided to give him the chance of a bit of a hunt this evening, and get him working a bit, to build back fitness etc, and hopefully take the edge off him before ferreting tomorrow, so i took him to a little scrubby woodland where there are sometimes the odd one
  21. Always looked like she had saluki in her as a pup, some pins on her. We will have to take her on the road mate
  22. Correct! And for the record bambey ferrets cannot sweat, that's why they suffer so bad in high temps. Nice theory though.
