    Bad Weather..

The weather was good here today.. so ive been out for a couple of hour's marching round the field's trying to flush partridge..i managed a close slip on a cock pheasant which he tail chased for around 500yrd's but it beat him to cover with a 30yrd lead...2nd slip was a covey of partridge which he flew with intent over about the same distance..i lost sight of the hawk and when i finaly found him in the next field over a hedge he was plucking something...i thought fooking jackpot.. ...but when i got closer it was not a partridge it was a bone dry rotted rabbit.. ..

It would still be a few hour's drive for me Whin ..but thank's ..
  10. Ive read some reveiw's and the ones i have are meant to be good on tarmac also in ice and wet condition's especially on cornering at speed..the are winter tyre's not snow.. they have a wider tread than normal tyre so they can flick the snow out easier to stop them from becoming compacted.

  17. I would like to think i dont need them but i would rather have them than get stranded somewhere for the sake of a bit of thinking ahead..last year where i travel the car was just about useless..and i had to borrow a 4X4 on several occasion's.
  18. After last winter's bad snow i have decided to try some winter tyre's as the car was pretty usless even with a slight incline in the road with all the snow we got.....i needed two front ones anyway so i went for these.. http://www.tyremen.co.uk/product/10013/175-65-r-14-%2882t%29-acelere-winter.aspx
