I have done a lot of ratting over the year's with all kind's of 2stroke contraption's even tractor's and a diesel landrover...and the best thing i have seen to date for not destroying the the terrier's nose and bolting quietly is the propane smoker's that use heated oil to produce the smoke and lot's of it.. What a lot of folk dont understand is you have to be just as quiet as you would be ferreting bunnies if you want any level of success with bolting rat's with smoker's.. Once you have got a decent mark keep the terrier's away from the holes and stop any digging straight away..otherwise th

Im not a fan of all the new breed's..i much prefer the old school type's of collie X's and lurcher X's with a dash of saluki in there somewhere down the line..over the year's i have been out with many of the said X's and they have all perfomed well..my main quarry year's back was rabbit and hare anything else was a bonus..

Take a nice piece of hazel with you when you walk the pup...and if that dog's tries it on again crack over the head full thrash..it really boil's my piss when people walk aggresive dog's off the lead.. ..i can't walk my dog's around here in daylight..i have a tempremental dog here who never get's of the lead till i am miles away from civilisaition..and he has mullered several dog's while on his lead because of carless owner's..

My main problem is i cant sit still for too long and i have done a lot of forestry and chainsaw work and humping log's about over the past couple of month's..which has not helped me one bit..and like you i can't pick a kettle up at time's or anything even a mobile phone of i use a certain angle..i hope it eases of soon as i have a load more woodland clearing to do..and it is a real hinderance..

It's like trying to pick a car engine up when moving them thing's about.. but they will take some beating where smashing load's of bunnies up are concerned..

I have proved a few wrong..the best one was when a lad put a picture up of all the rat's he had caught.. i can't remember the exact number of rat's but had photo shopped the picture to make it look like they was 3X as many in the picture..mind he had done a good job of it but i spotted a few fault's...when he was rumbled he said he done it for a laugh..

Does anyone have any experiences and remedies for tennis elbow..i have had it for about a month now and it doing my fooking head in..ive even thought about crawling in the porta Mag recently.. ..but it stink's of sweaty dog's so i passed on the idea..

Fook me mate i know the saying get said all the time (the good allway's die young) and i know she was not young but she still had plenty of life left in them bone's..ive seen her out in the field many a time and heard many a story about her exploit's..she will be sadly missed and never ever replaced ..she was a unique one of and worth her weight in gold..and you where spot on for making the date especially where tumour's are concerned.. R.I.P.. little dog.

It sound's a bit fishy to me..i watched a experiment on tv year's ago that was questioning the energy left in a bullet once it was fired into the air..after load's of test's in a desert somewhere it was determined that a bullet that was fired into the air did not have enough energy to kill a human..im thinking the gun that killed the girl was fired at a flat angle into the air which caused that freak accident..rather than at the moon.. P.s..i know where you are coming from with your title though..no gun should be fired unless you are certain where the bullet will end up. -

Ive used a LED lenser P14 for bunnies and not done too bad..but you need experienced dog's in that light..

Pain free cheap and practical.. . i use one and i cant fault it..not for barking but fighting..but from experience they can't bark when it's on.. -
It's a shame you are not closer Milo..it would be around a 5/6hr drive for me..if i win the lotto ill buy a helicopter and nip down for some day's flying.. ..have fun matey and focus on the bunnies with hopefully a mate ferreting for you..any feather is a bonus but dont be disheartened at this time of the year if you have no luck as they are pretty fit and wised up now..
