    you can try it but like i say most of the little shit's end up pulling them apart...what ever retrieving work i have ever done has been with ball's and dog toy's.. ..try a fluffy rabbit toy.

    Thank's for taking your time to have a look.. ..i have that manual for the micro it came with the tranny when i bought it new..i think i got the information to reset the micro from the IFF a couple of year's ago.

    Im a bit confused the way this thread is going. .i may of missed something but has the thread starter actually said he shot them on land he was poaching..or infact keepered land...i did not see him say that so he get's a thumb up from me.. ..i have shot many over the year's in similar circumstances.. But i dont agree with knacking bought in keepered bird's for a shoot..

    Ahhh but...even with ratting, there are levels of 'good' Ahhh very true.. just about all dog's will try to kill a rat.. it's what they do after they have been bitten badly many times that determines a good dog.. and also the ability to use there nose to good effect time and time again..

    I would say any terrier or any type of athletic dog will do good at ratting if they get plenty put infront of them..
