  5. Smallest lurcher ive ever had. Handy for abit more than rabbits too.
  6. Quality mate. Me and crozzo were ferreting a football pitch and there were a couple lads stood watching. We let them follow us pick up the ferrets and lay nets and watch the dogs chasing bunnies. One of them even had a lurcher at home lol.
  7. Cheers lads. Supposedley 3/8 bull 5/8 grey. Really honest dog and puts 100% into his work.
  8. Heres his first proper nights lamping then his second after injury. Second night.
  9. Shaving on the floor of the court and a few boxes full of hay. Never had to many problems with ticks and the like. Vet bed is brilliant stuff i might try the stinkers with it.
  10. Just thought id put up some pics up of the last couple of days and nights out. Saturday night i decided just to go out with me old dog just for a couple of runs. He managed 2 squatters very quick but it was on easy land with some dumb bunnies. Put the lamp on what i thought was a black rabbit sat in the short crop sent the dog and it turned to be a f*****g stinking crow. Ferrets enjoyed it anyhow. And heres a couple of pics from the last couple of times i took the bull cross out after his injury.
  11. I get a few quid a month from selling abit of venison during the season. Enough to pay for fuel if im out in the motor anyway. When i was younger i used to do abit of kennelwork and have a few garden rabbit control jobs wich i get paid for but due to the mixy this year i havent had to do too many of them. Im happy with the career im getting to at the minute.
  12. haha, the things I did to pay for the mutts would of gotten me hung a few hundreds years ago, that's why I am a great believer in actually having a dog that can pay for itself Lol ive got to be honest my dogs dont pay for themselves. Especially once vet bills come into it. Dont get me wrong they probably pay for theyre food in the winter but i stop hunting after February. Apart from the odd april run to fill the freezer. ATB
  13. Im looking for a new gun for abit of roost shooting aswell as something that can deal with the odd duck or goose. I really like the s200 but i dont know anything about airguns. What sort of price could i pick one up for and how much are the divers tank/stirrup pumps ? Ive been shooting with my webley eclipse and my hw90 so its gonna be a shock using a pcp.
  14. Tbh the only regrets ive got is not starting my current career sooner instead of f*****g about doing various dodgy stuff to fund my dogs and the weekend. No point looking back just enjoy life while you still got the chance.
  15. I remember reading in a magazine about 2 keepers who moved the camera and write a not saying if you want them back theyll be on ebay. They positioned the camera so they could clearly see the culprits. Sounds good to me ?
  16. Lol could you imagine the surprise theyll get when they look to see whats on there !
  17. Ill empty the inbox when im home mate. The pop ups im using will hold up a chod for week guaranteed. Ill pm you in abit mate.
  18. Probably not mate as its illegal. ATB
  19. Right after christmas im going to look at getting a GWP and just wanted to hear everyones opinions on them ? Im not looking for a picking up or beating dog all i ask is that it can find game for my lurchers and mark warrens and be steady to rabbits bolted to my shotgun. And im looking for a dog that can track wounded deer and It will be asked to rietrive duck and geese from time to time. My dogs perform alot of these tasks already but looking for something abit more suited to the job. Honest opinions on this breed please good or bad both welcome.
  20. i have never used it and NEVER will firstly because of the price per kilo is a discrase, and secondly because every man and his dog is on it if every bloke throwed in a chepo brand like they do the cell they would have no choice to come out on it. and i always find being different is always better well most of the time How much are you paying per kg for the spicy suasage mate ? its 60 quid for 10 kilos 2 tubs of pop ups and half a kilo of paste you really cant go wrong with it its a fishmeal probley better of with tutties at this time of year.....kent particles do them cheap
