not in ireland there not, plus there is european and american members aswell But unfortunately hes asking for pics and pics can be traced to ip address. As said theres no pitbull crosses on here. But i dont think a pitbull lurcher would come under a pitbull type. Didnt you post a picture on here the other day of a pit bull type dog .........strange considering your statement above. No mate i posted a picture of an american bulldog x old time.

I know the head of the local dangerous dog unit been round mine a couple of times about another dog i got. Hes seen my bull lurcher plenty of times never said a word even when hes been abit beat up. So no they wont allway take them. But thats because its a staff cross right

All along this rabbit proof fencing are holes that are home to rats and rabbits. I hate netting these places.

Was out today back at the pig farm took the faithfull old 20 bore and the old man had his .410 still alot of cover about ( thats my excuse for missing anyway). Considering he only had one barrel he pulled of some awsome shots. I missed a couple bot soon had my eye in. Got eight hard earned bunnies 5 for the old man and i got 3. Shot a fair few rats aswell. The landowner asked us to have a go around the old railway bank next time some proper deep burys. No end of day pic as had to get home but a few pics of the railway bank.

Nice dog mate is he out of dan by any chance ?

Nice one mate shame about the old terrier. I agree with your old man though i grew up hunting with terriers and will allways have a soft spot for the little juks but i also love the calmness of a good lurcher on the bury. Horses for courses though best of luck with the youngen.

I still do a fair bit of roost shooting (pigeons) quite often if i shoot one the dog will pounce and stop it flapping and ill get the chance of another shot. Its funny watching a dog retrieve 3 birds at once. I did have a pic on my old blackberry. Will try and dig it out.

Dog or bitch doesnt matter to me aslong as they got the heart for it. The only reason i have dogs is because i dont wanna have to lay the bitch off false pregnancies and everything else that comes with bitches.

The ferreting season hasnt changed much for me. You just have to adapt to the changes. Im in no way a jack of all trades and the only things i shoot with my airgun is birds and squrriels and all i trap is mink and rats. Aslong as your seen to be catching some when you ARE there and you enjoy it thats all that matters. ATB

Tiny 7 i can ferret and lamp rabbits with my bull lurcher and he will turn his hand to anything. He will mark buries and work cover like a demon. I think given the chance most bull crosses can do most of whats asked of them. And as you can see gets in cover with the terriers no problem

Why not just go for a 3/8 5/8 bull/greyhound mate ?

Just because people are on here a bit doesn't mean they dont get out alot. I can come on here whenever through the iphone.

Agree 100% as my boss says its about trusting your kids with the dog not the dog with the kids. -

Then without wishing to sound impolite.......you are a fool ! Again 100% percent is maybe wrong choice of words but i take this dog to pick up the kids from school everyday and kids are allways fussing him. Just like i can trust my lurchers around stock i can trust this dog with kids. -

Why would you have a child around a dog thats eating ?.............and why let the kids pull your dogs about a kid should be taught to respect a dog no dog should be put through the stress of being pulled about. Ive had dogs you wouldnt go within 10 feet of when they are eating even getting the empty bowl away was done with the broom yet they was the most loyal and affectionate dogs you could wish for any other time.............im a believer in letting a dog be a dog and respecting what he is.......but i accept you need a certain amount of trust in a pet friend of the family type dog. -

I know what you lads are saying as ive got a dog here that would bite you if you even walked past him when hes eating. I can take his bowl away no trouble but novone else can. Thats why hes in his kennel during the day and only taken out for excersise and work. But what if your child accidentley kicked the dogs bowl away or something ? Thats why everytime ive had a pup ( apart from one ) ive let the kids pull them about play and socialise with them. ATB
