    the same to you very impressive bag!! same with me i prefer to leave them a while but one of my permissions is an orchard and they smash the young saplings small and large so they have to be thinned out!! big old stew or curry for you then!!

    found this link on the BASC http://www.basc.org.uk/en/departments/game-and-gamekeeping/game-shooting/shooting-seasons.cfm have a read, it doesnt state anywhere about not shooting game/vermin over easter but does say that ''No game (including hare) may be shot in any county on any Sunday or on Christmas day.'' - didnt know that

    no worries john and yeah it would be drum doing the hammer o ring mod.... 24inch barrel..... that sounds interesting!! might have to have a look at that!! i have seen a couple of the side cocking conversions and they look good if i would have one done i would get it done on the left side as you could cock it and insert pellet without taking your hand off the grip but i do that anyway now so....? would rather spend the dollar on a 24"barrel!! you'll have up load some pics john!!     cheers shay yeah i do love my storm... well the only things that are gunpower left on it is the outer case, barrel, and bottle all the rest has been bined and replaced with custom parts from leupys gun shop, drum really knows his stuff!! smooth as silk now just waiting on a mod to the hybrid hammer to soften the noise when the spring is released...... once u pop u cant stop i think they say.........

    another small tip for you as well mate if you're making one....... attach small strips of elastic 2-3cm long at various places around the suit/smock like what we military guys used to do so natural foliage can be inserted and removed easily for extra effect and change of surroundings! Darryl :thumbs: good tip, seen that done before but good jog of my memory!! good idea about leaving them outside for a week or 2 to air but its almost instinct now to be up wind of my shooting area... its just a bugger crawling for a mile on your belt buckle into the field....

    funny you should say that... as i was getting my gear out of the car a royal mail van pulled up at the house of where the permission is, didnt think much of it but he came over and started chatting.... turned out he was a sniper of the rifle regiment years ago... of course started chatting bout weapons... L96's, barrett 50cal popped up as well love them!! and he said have you not got a guillie suit?? i said i havent got one yet waiting on a yes to 120 acre permission and he said just make one, hessian sack and sas smock and your away so mught give it a go to be honest thanks for advice

    after reading all those posts and what that sniper lad said to me today im defo gona give making one a go, get a few dye's and hesian sacks, already have a sas smock and 95's bottoms away we go!!

    they use a laser to beem out and back to the range finder and displays the range via a LCD display in the sight... they are a real asset to your hunting bud as it takes out the guess work..... when you have the time before the shot that is!!?? you can pick them up at a reasonably price these days mine was £60 from ebay!! ATB

    hi guys..... well.... was looking at the conditions today and even tho the wind was up a bit i thought i'd give it a go so grabbed all my gear together and set off.... Sun was out and there was alot of activity up at my permission inculding the new wolly mammoth type cows the owner has stuck in the field!! shaggy looking things!! anyway started stalking my way down to one of the warren...... spotted a youngish looking rabbit sitting having a look about.... lasered at 40m.... couldnt stalk any closer as my cover would of been blown so was in the prone position..... steady..... massive w

    thanks alex thats sound mate i will get a 16 mill adapter.no i dont have a gunpower silencer i will maybe try the weihrauch.i will be very interested to find out how you get on with the hammer o ring.will this cause some power loss i wonder or maybe even hammer bounce. i doubt it maybe turn out ot be a great modification.thanks again for your help alex John well i have only heard good reviews about the hammer o ring mod, if it was to drop the power by a smig you could always adjust the top hat out slightly but i dought it would!! most of the i
