    well to be honest mr stealthy i would be happy with just seeing a buzzard... there are MASSIVE arnt they!? easily a 1.5m wing span! i searched for ages for a pic that showed it like my still of the vid clip had it. the colour markings and that seem identical just that the still is a bit dark (had to increase the brightness to near max on photoshop!!) i have emailed RSPB and waiting to hear from them... I hope it is a Honey Buzzard, most of the breeding sites are top secret in Britain due to egg collectors and bird theives i'l be deleting this thread asap then...... i dont mind

    .... i NEVER knew that... so me getting 12 rabbits (adjusted to 18 with 1 shot 7 kills ) isnt really making a dent still as mr stealthy1 says !!! thats alot of curries!!!!

    hi bud, it always good to get out and especially if you havent been out for a while!! shame about the runner, there is another thread on THL about the rabbit skull and i kinda believed that anywhere up to 1" behind the eye is a brain shot but the best place is just below the ear?? did it drop when the pellet struck? if so it may have just had a few good leaps in it left and died quickly down its hole....??? the recipe sounds good mate i really need to do a camping session with the lads soon!! ATB

    the other eye was fine and it looked like it had warn the fur around the eye after maybe the damage was done to it maybe?? wow.... one shot 7 kills is a real find aye? they wern't as developed as yours the other day though... do you think they loose a few on the way?? what is a 'normal' number of babies born per rabbit per season?

    hi everyone, well i got my ghillie suit through the other day... been itching to give it a go, weather this weekend was rubbish but i thought i'd have a little wonder after work today.... here's an internet pic of it... first impressions on the ghillie suite is very good, there are a good array of colours and is a 4 piece with gun accessory, however as i found out in the field just my silhouette was enough to scare the bunny's even up wind of them a not making a noise!!? plus it got tangled on just about everything!! honestly.... on the side of my range finder i have a little bit o

    mr phantom..... you have WAYYYYYY more patience than me im afraid!! i spent HOURS the other night on a laptop i bought from ebay, was a really old one running win 98, all i wanted it for was to run chairgun pro as i have a powermac and macbook for my day to day stuff, thought i found a BARGIN at £23.95 end bid...... 1 MILLION hours later and i have only got chairgun working once, every other time it comes up with a runtime error 53.... im not designed for patience unless its hunting but even then i can only last 45mins before i need to have a stalk about!! would of been a crap sniper, days of

    i feel alot of male bonding going on here... i feel kinda new to the whole internet forum type topic thing but i have looked around quite a few other forums and none have the depth, advice, experience and might i just add.... the best god dam shots in the whole country.... thanks for making me feel welcome and the advice i have been given has been priceless! i would especially like to say thanks to to si, shay, davy, bill and mr phantom for there advice and chit chats over my time on here and many others all top lads

    thanks guys for all the great comments yeah i think the bunnies have wised up already, wasnt half as many out as the first encounter!! and it may just be me being paranoid but a large bunch of them seemed to stay out of reach in another paddock which i havent got permission for......YET!!

    well if it was me i would read a few mag's, find the type/kind of PCP your after, then if you go to good airgun shop you can try a few in your shoulder and see how they feel and go from there.... any bsa, AA, weinrauch, theoben and daystate are very good, even brocock, FX, RWS (been bought by RUAG Ammotec now but still the same) and not to forget Gunpower!!

    cheers guys for the comments tell me about it!! :sick: put me RIGHT off!! oh yes farmer!! i have just got a ghillie suit from ebay and it comes with a gun wrap so will change oit to that when it comes but in the mean time it REALLY works for me!! yours looks great in real tree well aaron i actually put (warning) on the header just for you buddy as i remember you asked mr phantom to do it when he was doing a little disecting of one of his kills.... dont worry i wont go that far.... yet

    hi guys, well decided to have another walk around my new permission today and it wasnt long before the first rabbit was in the bag... i was set up on the side of a horse dung mound (been dry for what seems like a few weeks) and if formed kind of a u or trench with warrens either side so i thought i could keep my eye on both and double my chances... it paid off.... was in the prone position looking forward, nothing happening and looked over my shoulder to see a young female bunnie sunning herself on the grass..... well a very careful turn around and lined her up, 42m so half mil dot

    hi bill yes i was very happy with the 40-60 grouping all within an inch but you have to work hard for it.... the gunpower series has not regulator to make all the shots the same-ish fps, example... after taking 50 shots the hold over at 60m was 3 mildot but after another 10 shots it was 3.5 nearly 4 and if it just charged then it is probably more like 2 at 60m..... i cant stress enough to newbies of the sport to practice and practice some more!! im learning every time i go out!! i have yet to secure this massive permission i have been given verbal ''okay'' for, so will wait for that bu
