I have a pair of Meindl Dovre Extreme GTX Boots which I wear all the time, they are very stiff which support my ankle which I injured some years ago and is still fooked, they are a bit clumpy for day to day stuff but I'd rather put them on than anything else even for a simple dog walk or gardening. They aren't cheap though but I've had them 3 years at least and wore them loads...I also tend to wear shoe soles on the sides very fast ( they call it over pronation) and these have not worn down much even though I've walked miles in them. I would trash anything poorly made in a year or two at most.

Right then....I can report a success of sorts we still have day or two to wait but we put one bottle in the fridge last night and tasted it today. Very tasty and I was surprised to find that I liked it as I hate those Elderflower type juices you buy from the shops. This is like lemonade really. I'm not sure how alcohol it is though, it doesn't seem strong. On to the important but, when the wife cracked open this bottle it was like a shotgun going off and we'd degassed only yesterday!

That was years ago, I don't think it was a contributing factor as the water injection was to increase the manifold pressure ( I think?) for higher boosts....Probably it was because I drove it like a nob head. I would love to have another one though, it was a great car to drive only 4 gears and no power steering but in full boost it was crazy at the time lol

It's like Saving Private Ryan, they did an amazing job in parts but the story was ridiculous....films like the Longest Day, Bridge too Far or the Battle of Britain were almost documentary style films and worked perfectly.

We're overrun with wild foxgloves and red valerian....they look spectacular and the bees love it

I think nearly all films based on fact are like that...I've given up watching anything. I tried to watch this and got 1/3 of the way in and couldn't be bothered with it

The niger seeds are not being decimated by the sparrows and blue tits which is good, we've had a woodpecker, greenfinch and now the goldfinches have discovered them Nothing amazing again but nice garden birds to see

Except women....they mostly can't throw My wife can't throw either, she threw a ball for the pup and it hit me in the shoulder We had a saying if you couldn't throw it was "you throw like a girl." Ha ha I think Squeamish is a lady When the wife throws both the dog and I are looking in the opposite direction to where the ball goes Squeamish....get a catapult type launcher, I have one they're great but you have to get the basics sorted out first....see original post

What does you dog like more than anything? If you can find something it loves then you are on to a winner, odds are you think you are doing one exercise but are actually doing more, you have to deconstruct each exercise right down to basics. If you can get it hooked on squeaky toys, or something else you are on to a winner but there are tricks to doing this that aren't blindingly obvious. I'll tell you what I do if you like but you know your dog and what interests it, also the age is important, I could probably sort out my lab to some extent but it would take a huge amount of work and I fa

Yep! Not seen one of those for years. The name's a bit misleading because it looked yellow to me lol I'm on the lookout for Siskins next and have one feeder loaded with Niger seed which most birds don't seem interested in. Our sunflower heart feeders are being annihilated on a daily basis so we're going to have to start buying in bulk as this is going to get quite expensive! I also nearly caught the woodpecker but he flew off when I got to the window but we'll get him eventually
