  1. Well this isn't a rant about them wasting our tax money etc but just look at Diane Abbott's portrait in that article lol It looks like she'd probably asked the artist to give an extra 100% ethnic in the portrait but it appears to have gone wrong and made her look like a goblin, look at those ears http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10568722/MPs-portraits-cost-taxpayer-250000.html
  2. descended from a wolf for sure
  3. If you have any fields near you, you can practice using a bit of fluff tied to the end of you line. Look on youtube for some good tips but basically don't let you line drop when it's behind you and try to use the same amount of power for both back and forward casts. and remember....if your flies not in the water you wont catch any fish you don't need to get it miles out, often you catch fish on the margins of a lake.
  4. Had a couple of days like that recently, walking hedgerows with good company love it. Had a wander round a farm on Sunday first good frost of the year. Seen a fox, rabbit, hen pheasant and plenty of pigeons who all stayed at range from us. Then came across a squirrel who thought he was hard as nails and started grunting at me, he didn't even run round the tree...just sat there giving me the evil eye so he got two barrels for being cheeky
  5. Ha ha Check this one out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBPd4hd1EEk
  6. The domestication of wolves started somewhere between 19,000 and 32,000 years ago.
  7. If you're stupid enough to marry a 'princess' expect trouble. Girls ain't made of glass they're often tougher than blokes. Become down trodden at your peril!
  8. Well said Malt. Treat them like a 'princess' and let them think they can do not wrong at your peril!! My brother is married to one of those and she's a right c**t
  9. We were out, nice frost and dry but only saw one rabbit which I expertly missed with both barrels! Typical that the minute you stop paying attention the dogs flush one! I missed nearly everything. Had a squirrel grunt right at me at me near the end so gave it both barrels for good measure lol

Personally I would laugh my arse off if that happened. What are they thinking to spunk all that money on a car that wont even get used.
  11. if it really is only for the internet have you thought about a tablet? Personally I don't like them but I use my computers for work and lots of other stuff.
  12. First time I got in trouble at primary school was for pinching loads of the CB radio books from Tandy (which were free) and selling them at school
  13. It wont make the internet faster but it comes down to the amount of programs you can have running at the same time as does the amount of ram. I'd be looking at an i5 or i7 if it was me and minimum 8 Gig of Ram for windows 7 or 8. Integrated graphics cards (if you don't play computer games) is a good way to keep cost down.

  16. I don't have a recipe but recently I bought some partridge and pear pies which were very tasty. I'd guess you would need, lean porn and pork fat for layers in between the partridge/pear mixture. Then prepare partridge, sliced pear, seasoning a few other bits n bobs like herbs and maybe marinade over night in red wine/port or maybe a sweet desert wine. If you use hot water crust pastry you need to leave a steam hole in the top of it. Make a stock from the bones and legs etc and add gelatine so it will make a jelly. When the pie has been cooked with the ingredients you would then let
  17. you can get flea traps as well. They just a small bulb over a sticky strip of poson. When they hatch they jump to the bulb and get killed before they can lay eggs. We used the spray on floors/under sofas etc which worked well and then used capstar to kill any fleas on the dog and also fronline which I don't think is very good but better than nothing.
  18. Sound advice there. It's like shooting, if you start with the right technique you wont spend years trying to fix it. Fishing small rivers is great fun I find it similar to rough shooting in many ways you have to use your wits more compared to sitting on a stocked lake where there is 3000 fish swimming round in circles. A short 3 weight rod is ideal for small rivers/brooks and don't be suckered by fancy reals they don't do anything but a nice rod is always a pleasure to use...fancy kit is there to catch fishermen not fish
  19. Anyone used to go to Legends in Warrington? It was 90-92 when I was going there. Fun times but payback is a bitch
  20. Just be very worried if Frann adds you as a friend...I swear he's the grim reaper in disguise

    Breaking Bad

Deadwood is fantastic. Talk about gritty you can imagine that was exactly what the frontiers were like back then.
