    not saw many small dogs take a hares d slieght twenty years ago had a bitch bluey 22 and she took hares got into semi final of a coursing comp , a good cacther ,localy the ground can be testing for a small dog , unless run lightly , my founder stock were small ish dog 23 24 but built [bANNED TEXT] with [bANNED TEXT] attitude, its very hard to get good hare dogs pre ban 22 23 as some lacked the gears if going was soft and big slips at times , but youll get the odd ones that are built [bANNED TEXT] just same as a bigger dog but i mwouldnt go out to bred lots of small dogs for hares as it could g

    let say there not many characters left like me now and never will be , liked the little dog bendi , just a smaller version of what i have in some ways ,if half them on here or 90 per cent had hunted half the land and chases ive saw they would be alot more knowlegble , shame realy the internets were a mans rated not the feild , at times ,away again to go out and a hve a bit of fun with dogs

    just bag from pets r us and they have skins treadmills for ferrets ideal for,the winter nites even feret balls great to keep therm fit lol

    i run rough arable land dry stony how would the bulls do in this type of land on fast qaurry pre ban, we have seen afew up nut some took alot of punishment when game s up and running . yo realy need to make sure there of distance greyhounds and lite bulls ones that are atheletic

    AS long as they cacth the qaurry mate , and are bred [bANNED TEXT] of working parents when i worked the hill higk country had rough breardie cross and dog out of bob katie , broken coated , they took weather easy , but on the low lying tlat land next to sea i like the smooth coats , but doesnt bother me , but if you do alot of high country ferreting a good dense coat helps adog standing about waiting for bolts digging etc always will hence the scorrish deerhound in the old days working beardie an dthe ld scottish highland teriers

    secarl galgos in new mexico the range from good to better they can all run but some are just not built [bANNED TEXT] for the fast new mexican jack rabbit , and some are just [bANNED TEXT] , if youre a hunter you would go athrough to get it [bANNED TEXT] , as ome are lite and nort pacy and some are nice saw several bit quicker than asaluk at times but no better , and certainly no better than the dogs my mates have and breed over there , so be wary if you by one

    way i look at it were were all the great whippets before the ban there all poping up now plus never saw any in the cold north at feild trails in feb heavy snow and three days of solid hunting , dogs hanging about inbetwen hunting on leash , wouldnt own one for free a pure whippet , had greyhound whippet but feet started to play up ,after three seasons coursing chaseing , good bitch but no tryes no running

    feed them rabbs let them no the smell there qaurry likem any good hunting animal , ive evn heard guys giving them kills in the old day to gee them up like a live rabbit ,but you dont need to if there bred [bANNED TEXT] and had plenty dead ones to eat ,dont make the ,mistake of over feeding them either there hunters and hunters dont alway succseed, this years kit took me four outings by then she was crunching eyes and head on a kill but with her pa so nows the time to she if she can hold and sort out a big buck ,alot of ferrets think cause they get fed in a cage thats were the sport it so ke

    wouldnt put pure breed in not now, done it a few generaitions ago but got speed about me stamina feet , would be going back the way to put pure in most i would go to is big whippet greyhounds ,and as for deehounds i would need to see it work before i touched it with a barge pole ,i saw a nice bitch down berwick but you dont no till there working , any way if you stick to dogs that do the bizznes ie forley cup winners or very good dogs , youll have a good chance of getting something good , as breeding is the start of any good dog then nurture entering,bredings a sceince so is clever hunting a
