got saluki croses they all ferret but ive had twenty years of them , some take a few seasons to calm down some are calm from start got a pup at moment love people and affection even when hunting but some are the opposite and need lots of one to one , got an old dog tyne on eof the cleverest dogs ive saw and his pups on tune with me but had alot of socai upbringin one to one , they work for tit bits to , youre never there master at times but you have to no how to work round that

never had that pleasure much here were i was brought up as it was ilegal full stop so never ever had many socail gatherings with lercher dawgs lol can rember seven of us walking afeild to push hares up and slipping dogs or as tennagers getting on bikes ferrets and amongrel dog to get rabbits but even thenpoaching we aere surrunded with estates full of phesants very few common men got permision unless old pit s etc and surrounding areas which would had benn ideal for molls pack but there all gone an deither built on or farmed and they not have lurchers about unless rabbits are a real problem it

ye more dogs do have a purpose but so does a long net to head things of mate ,im not a casual hunter and we dont have rabbits on real rough ground all hedgrows but the woods are full of forbiden game at times , so its not a casual walk , if a man comes to mines at most one dog or two no more , dont need them mate, unless one in wood and a guy on other side of wood and one at other then the dogs of war push things out, of cover mate,thtas as close as pack hunting ive done since adult apart from hounds,pushing foxes out pre ban to lercher dawgs lol

had some great days on hares brought up in an area were there more hares than rabbs one i remeber black back had the runs of to a tee lost dog everytime i was going long net him but let him be , the ground determines the hare and dog pursuit and the stamp of a dog you breed had sevral over years catch winter hares and i raely ru hares until october onwards , unless pup , some areas ive hunted you would have better sport daytimeas the grounds rolling and they get out of lamp one of the saddest days was when the banned it at times , fechers

get fishing head on march dogs start getting just walked or behind jeep but got apup on the go so will lamp afew rabbs with her on her own and then once feilds are cut , pre ban if i saw anice big buck would try and get him sometimes but summer for fishing working hard stoking up for winter

unregisterd racing whippet is one of the most succsesful to breed into dogs for lurchers , , mosy useful sighthound to breed into lurchers , if you get a good greyhound very handy beast had 2 out of several and one of them could lamp run and stay , rest were mostly sprinters , so no good , , look for distance greyhounds etc get them running fit youll be surprised ,salukis are very useful to but all depend sif there pacy to as not all land has plenty space to run

i use white as they get dirty to the coulor of the soil or dye them a lite green and if your eyes are feched spray the pegs a brite coulor ,

had some [bANNED TEXT] days up in the hill,s always better qaulity than rabbits round made up ground old warrener i new he called them heavy land rabbits round your way and up on the hill light land rabbits , , hills have always produced good bunnies more fat , had some days a foot plus before we broke through perma frost winter 93 had a few freinds from yorkshire d slieght ian clay he passd away we had 6 weeks of hard frost , perma was 18 inches down we fereted the woods and some heavier less frost areas ,etc last time i took a few pics of game lined up for earth dog running dog ,mag ,great
