    Hi All. Well after ordering two SEs, one each for me and my mate, one has turned up. First impressions were very good, nice comfortable rifle to shoulder, the new Menelli stock looks the part and is well finnished, a bit to well really, as when the face gets a bit wet or sweaty, your cheek tends to slide on it. First job was to pull the barrel through using a patch dampened with white spirit, the first pull through produced quite a dirty sample. Pulled through with clean patch until dry. Fitted the Twink to her ( Thank you Darryl ) I filled the rifle to just under 230 Bar

    Hi Foxfan. A good tune can reduce the noise made by the action. My HW95 was noisey to cock and fire until I had it tuned by Tony Wall Sandwell field sports. Its now very smooth to shoot, and very quiet too. The tune cost me £70......worth every penny for the performance I now have. Just a thought. Bill.

    Hi Alex. Personaly I dont think you can beat the feel and look of timber. Its enjoyable and satisfying oiling it too, seeing that rich grain glow through. Very nice rifle mate, good luck with her when you get her ATB. Bill.

I'll do anything I can to help people out. I went round to Seans yesterday evening and sorted his rifle for him. Firstly I chronoed it using superdomes, 11.2ftlbs average so all fine there, I then aligned the scopes properly as the crosshairs weren't aligned causing him to cant the rifle. Also he's a lefty using a right handed S400 which wasn't ideal but using a sponge and some tape I fashione

    Hi Shane. You seem to be a bit muddled as to what you are actually selling for your mate Now.....is it a 77, or a 97 ?

    Hi Mike. The next time you fish, make sure your reel, Multiplier or fixed spool has the drag/ratchet set to allow for a take, without loosing your rod As for the Bass fly rod, I use a Scierra Blue Water 9' line wieght 9, also a Bloke Bass Special custom built by Justin Anwyl, again, 9' and 8/9 line wieght. Both rods are very capable of handling a good bass, no problem. Used to use both from a sit on top Kayak before my back got too bad, and that was hellish fun, if only Mackerel grew to 5lb a? Bill.
