You probably drained them enough I find they need to be left for a good half hour then they're good to go. If you make a method mix and pellets try a 50/50 mix with method mix into mould first, I've always found it gets the fish going again. -

On a commercial water the method can be deadly when they've got there heads down. I use it a lot I do, though I struggled yesterday with one as the fish where up in the water a bit.I either use a method mix or prep some 2mm pellets to use round the method. -
