    i've noticed an influx of adverts for 'genuine 1st xs' maybe theres more money to be made in 1st x's?? i' like a 3/4 cross but i get the feeling just any old greyhound will do for the making of it... when i got my 1st x both parents worked fox

    heres a litter i bred.... mother was a whippet/greyhound x bull 22tts ... father was an ex track dog 30tts ... some of the pups threw right back to the grandparents on each side!!! the one i kept back looked the absolute spit of her grandmother, even had the same patches in the same place!!

    i've paid over 200 for pups and that included transport... for me, at the time, i wanted a pup of that breed and i bought it but i cant see how anyone would justify that kind of money... i reared 2 litters... a deerhound/grey type litter that ended up really good and i mostly gave them away for free and a litter of bull/whippet type x pups that was bred from good parents but sadly few of the litter were anything worth... to rear both litters cost me little, and they were well fed on 'out of date' mince and steaks (such a sin to throw away perfectly good meat when theres folk in the world s

    whats the size of your bitch and would you not cross that to get your 3/4 cross? i thought about it but shes not that old yet and i'd like to do more with her... i lost alot of time last season due to work so i'm only gettin her thru her paces... i'm guessin shes round 22tts ... shes not big!!

    just to point out that i've been around boxers most of my life... i always thought they were a nearly always a different temperament (of coarse theres always an exception) to any other athletes in contact sport!! these cage fighting fellas just dont seem to have the same substance... i know a few of them as well, nearly all treacherous b*****ds with drink in them!! and alot of them get jobs as door men as use the punters for practice if given the chance!! you dont get that as much with boxers!! IMO, theyre just a better class of athlete at all levels!!!

    done it for years, long before blaserlite was thought of, never had a problem until i gave it to a mate and he walked round all night with the full beam on, a hole melted in the reflector!! and keep the vents open at the back as well... i have blaser, laser and the 170.... the 170 is better for big fields by far but i never leave home without the blaserlite, the hinged filter and secondary bulb for gates etc is priceless!!

    put a 100watt bulb in the laserlite mate... but dont keep it on for long periods cuz the reflector tarnishes... it will let you see what its capable of!!! if u like it then u can buy the metal reflector for the blaserlite for a tenner or so, its the same fit!!

    i love his books, i was given 'the complete jack russell' when i was 12 and i've been into dogs ever since... but i did lose interest when he said that he bred a litter of cavalier king charles spaniels that ratted and dug badger with the best of them!! i have him on dvd sayin it at a book reading... i was then really disappointed when i bought michael shaws lurcher and terrier books and discovered that plummer also wrote under that name and contradicted himself on numerous occassions concerning the training of saluki's and greyhounds!! but with that being said, i think his hunting footag

    i was always told to avoid frontera's because the wiring in them is supposed to be woeful... the neighbours bought one and proved me right!! theyr always really cheap to buy...
