  1. I've a beddy first cross greyhound... Great wee bitch although lacks size and strength for fox! She been hunting on the brain since she was 13weeks... Poaching pheasants and what ever else to get me in trouble lol... I got a 3/4 now as well and he's a lot bigger faster and stronger but he's a dopey as they come! Il test him on fox and see what he does
  2. aint cheap and dont have a decent sized back. If i had the money it would be the 110 td5 Spencer wilks and his brother Maurice would turn in they're graves if they saw what land rovers have become!!!
  3. It's up to 33% when I voted
  4. I'm not so sure what the bull brings to the table when I look at these pics
  5. Very interesting... Il look forward to seeing them! I must Google images and see if there's any about
  6. A bull crossed with a springer??? I've just been given a fully trained springer by a friend and I'm looking forward to seeing it go with the lurchers... I think in theory it should be a good tool for hunting hedgerows etc but whether or not it'll work in practice I won't know
  7. The town Man about dog Forrest Gump John wicked (coming soon)
  8. Still for sale Your right and I don't think leopold would put there name to it if an air rifle could knock it off its zero
  9. What's he like when he's out and about?? My bitch is the spit of yours and she was hunting on the brain from about 12 weeks on! Pheasants or nothing was safe
  10. Unfortunately the lad misunderstood what I was after and sent me lurchermania 1&2.... Will anyone do me a copy of the fox and hare one???
  11. Andrew Edwards has got a cracking dvd with cameras attached to the dogs as they course foxes... 10 out of 10 for originality!!
  12. Yea it definitely is a good scope, I'm taking a loss on it... It came from Crawfords gunshop in maghera and is only a few months old! I would have had it sold on a Facebook page but some dick decided he would say that because it was on an air arms air rifle that it would be destroyed.... I've never heard of that before and I can assure anyone the scope zeroes 100%
  13. As above for sale 170 inc post ... As new and boxed!! A very good scope and only being sold because I no longer need it since I upgraded to a weaver classic.... Outside magherafelt, Northern ireland
  14. 4.44 was an absolute blinder... Nice to see :-)
  15. Could you get me it? Il pay ya :-)
  16. Heroes of the cold night???
  17. Simply the best 2 I think that was called, if my cousin can still get them on disc I'll do you a copy Did ur cousin ever come thru mate??
  18. That is def the business mate.... I've a bit to clear at the back of the house so I'm gonna put down a concrete base and do something similar to that!!
  19. I looked on his site and I'd have said the same a few years back but since he's cleaned his act up the pups are reared well and socialised with the help of his daughter!! As for working ability the majority seem to be pleased enough
  20. That's the sort of build I'd sought after... A nice wee sprinter!! To be honest, when I look back on some of greys I had injured they actually weren't much worse than the lurchers I also had injured... The last lurcher I had killed was a whippet/bull x greyhound that broke her neck on a concrete drinking trough whilst lamping... In comparison, the greyhound I lamped after her only got cut on barb wire and she was killed by the vet when she sedated her for stitches, and the b*****d billed me anyway!!! At the end of the day my advise is to try get it as young as possible and show it som
  21. Get it as a pup and train it as you would any lurcher... Ex track dogs are usually a nightmare to work with,, I've had a few!! If you like speed then they're an awesome thing to watch on a long slip
