    I know you can't tell the whole story off a pic but that looks like it's got a bit of mastiff or something in it to me? look at the size of its head and feet! Again, it's only from a pic but I'd be amazed if it could catch very much, looks far too heavy to be quick? Nice looker though.

    They may very well have come from a working background pal, when people are selling ferrets they often put that they're from working backgrounds but some people that buy them will buy them as pets....so somewhere along the line a lot of the pet ones will have come from workers no doubt. Just out of curiousity, you went to get a spade....but how would you have known where to dig??

    that walking through glass trick is the shittest magic trick I've ever seen!!! the guard blocks the view of the door for a good 3 or 4 seconds, it's not even clever or quick how they've done it!     That was my plan until i bought a horse camper van and horse box Ideation will need to get a horse box aswell to fit all his flamin ferrets in it!

    Get a cheap camper van, get your mutt a pet passport and hit Europe for a couple of months.........once your head's cleared you'll be in a better position to decide if you want to stay over here or stay over there, or go further afield.

    just out of interest, when you see these RSPCA programmes a lot of the time they'll climb gates etc. if owners aren't in and will break open sheds, take animals etc. If they've no rights to do this then surely that's breaking and entering and theft? and yet you never hear of them getting done for that? I don't understand. If I went to someones house in a uniform and tried to blag my way in by making out I had the right to be there, and then took something of theres I'm pretty sure I'd end up doing a stretch?

    yea most fighting breeds would, but the one we're talking about was apparently set onto these lads and im sure it werent to scare them off with kisses. My next door neighbour has had 2 put down for savaging people. and he has another one again. he gets his mates chuck stuff at them through the window and poke them with a stick in their crate. Needless to say they hate strangers and you have to be off your f****n head to go in his house when it wasnt crated. His rottie is the softest dog i know are you sure we're not telling a few porky pies here?

    It's not like THL is the only source of information out there though is it.....If someone wanted to find out what's involved in keeping ferrets they could do in 2 seconds with a google search, the fact that some of them get ferrets and only then think about what's required speaks volumes. The only way to combat that would be everyone who's selling or giving ferrets away checking the person knows what they're doing before letting them walk off with one. I certainly would if I was selling a ferret!
