  1. What are.you on about? The majority of greyhounds in this country are used for racing but this isn't about racing dogs. You're such a fan of quoting me, show me where I said greyhounds had great feet. They haven't got feet that get smashed up everytime they're out, anymore than any other dog. Some have good feet some have bad feet. You've not answered my questions with regard to the other breeds I mentioned because you do t know the answers. Long toes don't make a dog slower or more prone to injury. A faster dog is more likely to hit stuff than a slower dog? Are you seriously offering that u
  2. read the full thread you moron no one as said a greyhound is better than a lurcher ffs and whats a lurckers here mong. the thred seems to be going along the lines of endurance.feet and injuries. ffs pal . only one mong on here fella thats you  can anyone name one other occassion apart from a thread on THL where grown men will start calling each other mongs....jesus!!

  4. interesting thread in danger of becoming another silly THL school playground slanging match
  5. can you give a few examples of why they were so bad.....rather than just "they were shit"? just interested to hear exactly what faults you've experienced? also, were the ones you've seen ex track dogs? i.e. has someone taken a track dog straight in the field and then complained that they weren't up to scratch? it's not that I'm doubting anything, I'm just interested in hearing the bigger picture. edited to say just seen from your previous reply that they were track dogs.....how much preparation did the owners do before taking them in the field?
  6. same here, probably the best action shots on the site....I've tried getting decent pics when rabbiting and it's bloody hard, how she managed such awesome pics at exactly the right moment is beyond me!
  7. bargain lamping or what, got a lamp in exchange for a ferreting box and nets, and bought a motorbike battery off ebay for 8 quid, lovin that!

  8. they only smell when they arent clean what???? have you even got ferrets? clean or not, they smell! castration reduces the smell but they still smell. if you dont think they smell pal then you must be a smelly fecker yourself!
  9. saluki-whippet-greyhound and his alter ego saluki-bull-greyhound have left the building meanwhile, new member saluki-bull-whippet is wondering if anyone is currently selling a Subaru at the moment
  10. you could do with a few pals to go to the pub with really couldn't you pal
  11. do you have to keep them all seperately then? I've only ever had two hobs at the same time once and they used to beat hell out of each other, it'd start with playing and then get rougher and rougher and rougher until in the end they'd be full on going at it! they used to bite each others balls!
  12. think it's about 40 quid. I'm going to get mine done I think, he's getting right on my tits!
  13. so you don't have any preference at all in terms of type of mix? there will be deer x grey, bull x grey, beddy x whip, collie x grey, saluki x grey etc. etc. all doing what you say, and all very different dogs, but you don't think it matters about the breeding? If I was after what the OP is asking I could rule out at least three of the mixes I've mentioned and I don't care what they currently do or how well they do it......not being argumentative, just making a point
  14. even less productive if it's only 2 months long! there's a good 6 or 7 spring/summer months for them to breed!
  15. buy the time ive got these pair back fit the season will be over yeah if you've got injuries there's nothing you can do about it but if you've got fit dogs you'd be insane to stop now IMO, season is short enough!
  16. and another one, site's full of them....and it's people other than the chav dog peddlers that are ruining the site is it? f'ckin laughable! If you honestly think he'll be keeping that dog you're a bigger knobhead than you sound
  17. packing it in at the start of Jan??? stuff that! we have enough time where we can't hunt without adding a couple of months on the back of one milky doe!
  18. does anyone else feel like agreeing to buy the dog, meeting him, taking the dog.....and then kicking the living shite out of the chavvy little moron? proper makes my blood boil things like this! he shouldn't be allowed to have a hamster never mind a dog!
  19. well done buddy it was just one of them days, if your missing bolters or the dogs not catching them that's one thing, but where there's nothing at home there ain't a lot you can do when you've just got ferrets and a lurcher. Oh well, I'll keep plugging away. I think next time I won't take any nets at all so I can just cover more ground and see the dog running. Enjoy your net pal....for those that think I'm sad enough to rig it in my favour, few things for you to consider.... I'd actually forgotten that James had donated a prize for the winner!! I need to lay of that vino!!! W
  20. I bloody wish!!! didn't get out til the afternoon....and was busy all day today so only just logged on here. I won't say it was a bad day because when you're out it's all good no matter what IMO.....but it came close to being a bad day, I must admit! Good start first off, both jills had kicked, struggled and kicked off like I was strapping a stick of dynamite to their necks the first time I put collars on them but this time they both just let me put them on, no messing. And that's almost where my successes ended! Basically, checked the first warren I had in mind, probably about 5

  23. Seriously, if you can't be bothered to watch the whole vid watch from 2 minutes to 3 minutes, and from 9:30 to 10:10......I was a biker for many years and how they have the bottle to do that is beyond me, absolutely amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djWQDK1_pvQ
