I've used wd40 for years and thought it no different to the napier stuff mate, but to be honest the last few times I've done serious range work I've used pellets straight from the tin and I couldn't say there was any real difference either!

Yes but you have a protective layer of insulating tape between the damp tape and the barrel.
-
i wrap my rifle barrels in electrical tape mate, then use good old british army sniper tape to cover that as protection from brambles etc. the leccy tape prevents rust even if you keep the tape on for months-which i've been known to do...

Same here, my mk1 rapid liked crossman premier, webley accupell (or daystate li).

Yep, the sporter feels and looks much better....ty

Well worth the money! If it fits you then it's pretty much the best pcp out there, devastatingly accurate and very user friendly rifles.

Mate, that stock looks amazing, where did it come from?

Sorry rob, only just read this mate. Haven't got any pics that I can put up cos its a nightmare getting anything on here from my phone. If its any help,i used hardwood stair rods for my handles, but I was doing stuff with a half tang and epoxy resin so it was quite easy to do.

If there were plenty around here i'd happily take one for the pot, but they're a rare treat to see on my permissions so I leave em be and just enjoy the odd glimpse of these beautiful animals.

I don't think so andy mate, theres far more banter and laughs to be had in the ongoing war of attrition between us all, makes for a better camp fire at the meets lol
-
For that matter, I think I'm still quite a few comps up on you mr. thomas, but do you hear me coughing and spluttering in indignation? Take a strepsil for your cough and wind your neck in lol

youre being overkind davy, but thanks for the nice words mate. yep, i have one and i think theyre about as good as it gets in a breaky. easy to tune at home, accurate as hell, built like a mk4 panzer and not as heavy as people reckon(except mine which weighs 14 lb, but you dont need to go there lol)... definitely lighter than the ever popular 97k or a tx. also used to devastating effect by pianoman, our resident springer king... cough! cough! excuse me!
