    personally, my ideal set up would be a tuned hw80 with a hw98 barrel and a nice custom stock, with a lightstream 4.5-14x44 ffp scope on top. which is why i'm using that exact rig lol

    Bloody great weekend, and I think the unsung heroes of the weekend were rog for keeping the games in order and like a true mad dog englishman staying out in the midday sun all day saturday in order to judge them, what a star. Secondly,a massive thanks to ann for her sterling service behind the scenes in the kitchen all weekend and her ability to make a proper cup of yorkshire tea under pressure.     If its a breaky you fancy then you won't go far wrong with a hw80/90/95 or 98 mate, all with very good track records, just depends on what you wanna do with them

    hi scott the best one i have heared of is urine,what you need to do is pee in a bottle,put it in a fridge over night.then just before you go out shooting smother your self in it works a treat i belive Its true, when I travelled round thailand and worked in india, I used pee as a mozzie repellent and they left me well alone. As did everything else in a6yd area....

    Well, I AM fully noodle armed and I have no problems carrying a pro sport or around! I hate the lightness of any other non hw/aa springers, they just don't have the right hefty feel to them. I find it very difficult to not take the 80/98 out at every opportunity even though it now weighs a stone after all the car filler etc...

    Or if you want a hft knock down target, get one of the ones that have a re set paddle at the bottom rather than the string reset type, then get a decent sized plant pot filled with fresh concrete and push the target in the top of it. You now have a mobile hft target that sits above uncut grass so you can set it down anywhere you like. Make sure you've a decent backstop like piano man says and youre away. I prefer an 18"x12" patio slab propped up behind the target myself but a long as the pellets won't rebound or go through it it doesn't matter.

Thanks As it goes, I've frozen a whole squirrel (for bait, not sexual pleasure or anything, that would be weird) so I can bring that in a cool box and show you mate, its just a smaller and fussier job than a rabbit.
