  1. Oh yeah, and being brown check it seems to blend in with woodland and hedgerow really well, at least to rabbits eyes, as I seem to be getting in closer to bugs since I started using it.
  2. I do, I wear the brown check one pretty much all the time mate. Bought it in June, and it's survived all the usual abuses I put clothes through plus it's VERY warm and you don't really notice the wet in it( I wore just the shirt through the monsoon that was the air arms memorial shoot and was fine, wet but not at all chilly with it). Plus being pure wool it's genuinely silent. In truth, I'm buying another as soon as I see one cos they're that good. Great piece of kit.
  3. My thoughts exactly, bung a 98 barrel on it and get the tuning bits from Sandwell Webster mate, if you have it running at about 10-101/2 ft:lb it should be pretty shooter friendly. If your scopes a 3-9x whatever you should be fine. Dunno about the stock, I built my mk1 up with car body filler but that works a treat for me as I like a heavy gun (14lbs, I fekkin must!)
  4. Excellent photos Darryl mate, you always really capture the moment when you're behind a lens. And you managed to get all of Davy's big head in a single shot too-now that's real skill pmsl
  5. Welcome to THL mate, whereabouts in Sussex are you? I'm on the coast just outside of Brighton myself, some good clubs around the county too.
  6. Back to Rivi then? Suits me, I thought it was a fantastic venue, or anywhere else would be better than the old downs course has become this time round. It's the folk there, not the venue, that make these meets so fantastic so it really doesn't matter where they happen, as long as they do!
  7. Don't think he's on here mate but I think xtx does tench regs for ultras, someone in the know here should have a link I expect. Can't do one yet from me iPhone, sorry
  8. What a great weekender that was, cheers to all who made it, there was some cracking marksmanship, some top banter and lots of belly laughs. Roll on the next one!
  9. I've not had a tune from sfs but I have bought tuning components from them following a very pleasant and long conversation with tony and I have to say they were spot on, real quality gear and not that pricey. I've shot sfs rifles and they've been pretty much faultless, obviously worked on by a man that genuinely loves his work and properly cares about what he's doing.
  10. Fekkin iPhone! That's lol not lil...

  15. one sensible comment in your twilight years does not make you an adult my friend... stay immature like the rest of us, we like you that way
  16. Just so everyone is aware-tuesday night is last call for steak orders as I'm ordering them on wednesday morning. Theyre gonna be around a fiver a go, but if the last lot are anything to go by, theyre worth it!
  17. I use a hogun myself mate, but a twink mk 2 is definitely quieter.t
  18. Ok, maybe not scottish, but that misguided love of chelsea is definitely a blot in an otherwise excellent copybook!t
