  1. I use a sling on my , and I don't find it a problem at all. However, its made from a bit of climbing rope strapped to some para cord, and tied to the rifle
  2. That sucks rog mate, how you get it sorted as soon as poss. Nice 1 si, thats a kind offer-best I could do is bring a hammer around lol Cheers, wurz
  3. If youre gonna use it for hft si, you might wanna consider taking the power down to about 10 1/2 ft/lbs, as I understand that it'll make the recoil and handling characteristics more like that of the .22, with the trajectory remaining pretty much as a .177 should be. Might be worth talking to tony about it? Cheers, wurz
  4. Funnily enough, I've had one on my pro sport for about 9 months now(although I covered all the shiny metal with cloth tape to stop it gleaming in summer so you can't really tell its on there) It has made a difference, although you might need the stock shortening cos it adds an extra inch or so to the length. Good move putting it on though,i found my groupings and general shooting definitely improved with it on. Definitely puts a bit of weight on the back, but if anything I think its improved the balance (for me anyhow) Looking forwards to seeing what you make of it si mate. Cheers,
  5. I'm using a lightstream 4.5-14x44 ffp scope on my ' and its brilliant, amazing quality sight picture in low light, and adjustable to 1/8" instead of 1/4". I was gonna use on the pro sport for hft but its made the into the perfect hunting rifle for me. The only downside is the cost of them at £450 new, but the money has definitely gone into the lenses. Cheers, wurz
  6. Won't you have to nominate him first daz before he can get in?! No worries simon, one'll come up at some point I'm sure mate. Cheers, wurz
  7. I said that 's a steal lol Simon, if you want to get shot of one of those stocks then let me know please mate, as I've a bit of an idea forming for my that'll need one.. Cheers, wurz
  8. Happy new year simon mate, All the very best, wurz
  9. Lewis, the size you are should make lugging an artillery piece around easy never mind an airgun lol
  10. I know exactly what youre saying simon, and can't disagree at all. The really does rule the roost, and since I should be president of club noodle arms you've think I'd get on with the lighter guns, but the shades it over just about every other air rifle I've shot. That one darryl's flogging is a STEAL!!!
  11. You should try it now its really run in and I've lost the silencer, smooth as silk and fiendishly accurate. We'll have to meet up in the summer again miles mate and you can give it another go. Cheers, wurz
  12. I think that whatever weight suits you is the only deciding factor in what weihrauch break barrel you end up with since theyre equally accurate when married to the right pellets. I don't get on with lighter rifles so its the for me (and thanks to andy's sterling work its more accurate than my pro sport), but if you like a lighter gun then the 95 is a fantastic springer. Personally I'd go for a 35 because of the barrel lock but it really is horses for courses at the end of the day. Cheers, wurz
  13. Personally mate, if you like breakys more, then a hw35,95 or 'll serve you fine, you can pick up good second hand 's for around 150 and if the weight suits you ok then you've a rifle for life, with a half decent scope you shouldn't have to pay more than 250 for the entire set up. best thing is to get yourself to a club or shop where you can shoulder all of them and see which suits you best. Theres no real difference accuracy wise between any of them really. Cheers, wurz
  14. Well done archie, .may he bring you all joy and no heartache mate. Cheers, wurz
  15. To right sony jim, Its the smell of money in the bank after working from the age of 15 to 65, not being a DOLE BANGER like too many posters on here! :tongue2: Sorry to correct you on this one but they don't call it "DOLE BANGING" anymore that went out with the dinosaurs :) :) Shows how much I know,i assumed a dole banger was someone who shags single mums...
  16. Damn youre good darryl mate! Love the power station one in particular, but theyre all brilliant buddy. Cheers, wurz
  17. I'm definitely grumpy enough rog mate. And thanks for clearing up who the strange fella was stood at the bottom of my sleeping bag staring at me in the dark last year... Maybe at the ripe middle age of 42 I am too young to join, which sucks quite frankly cos I'm told I'm too old to go an 18-30 shag fest so I must be at that difficult age?! cheers, wurz
