  1. That says more about you than me my o'le fruit See you tomorrow wurz buddy lol, i should point out that my sole dealings in brighton are making money by penetrating blokes repeatedly with a small prick. errrr.... see you tomorrow me ol mucker
  2. nice shooting daz mate. .25 really drops them dunnit!! hmmm, a .25 hw80 with a short barrel for tree ratting, i may have to investigate further... cheers, wurz
  3. nice to see you back though gary. i'm noticing a massive drop in rabbit numbers on all of my permissions down here, i reckon where the rains kept the rabbits underground mixy's gone through the warrens like wildfire and decimated them. cheers, wurz
  4. but if you are wearing that outfit, come to brighton after the comp, you should pull in no time. sweety... cheers, wurz
  5. Less than £200 mate, and yeah, probably well worth doing up. Arguably the best break barrel ever, alongside it's stable mates the hw35,95,90 and 98. I've had a couple of roughly 20 year old models, the first one should never have been sold on and you'll have to prise my current one out of my cold dead fingers. They tune up really well, very accurate work horse rifles that genuinely will stay with you for your entire shooting life if looked after with minimum maintenance (and believe me, mine gets minimum maintenance and maximum use lol) Hope this helps, cheers, wurz
  6. Very likely daz me old mate. Cos theres no way a welshman would have that kind of money is there... Cheers, wurz

  16. Great stuff, well done to si,chas and davy for organising the meets, and to every one of the attendees for digging deep. Simon, rat packs are somewhat different these days mate-one of my bootnecks gave me a carrier bag of stuff he didn't want anymore, including sweet tangy salmon pasta, tuna surprise, thai curry and all sorts of lovely nosh with not a biscuit brown in sight! Luckily darryl was able to supply me with a years worth-thanks again mate! Cheers, wurz
  17. one of my customers mrs was spending all afternoon dipping sprouts in chocolate for the evenings entertainment. i'm waiting to see if they had any burning envelopes filled with dog shit pushed through the door in retaliation... cheers, wurz
  18. Hang on a mo, you got rid of 2 quality springers for a fire extinguisher swallower?! I was only joking about the stubby one... Does not compute...lol And it means I'll have to lock up the pro sport at future meets? Mind you, as an ex rapid owner,i can understand, and may have to blag a go on the hulk next time I see ya mate, good luck with em bud Cheers, wurz
  19. Another great vid si mate. Interesting that you say to carry your rifle muzzle up on a sling, I've always done that since carrying .303s in cadets, and find it a bit wierd carrying it pointing down at the comps, mainly for the reasons you've stated (and the problem of a full length silenced barrel dragging in the sodding mud...) Have you thought about doing a gun safety special for new comers to the sport? Cheers bud, Wurz
  20. having said that, i find sportsmatch medium mounts fit both my 44mm scopes a treat, keeping them nice and tight to the action with just a flys gonad space tween scope and metal for shifting the paralax adjustment. what ya thinking of getting next then skot mate? cheers, wurz edited to say- some scope objective lens housings can be a bit thicker than others so its best to check at the gunshop or at least on the packet whether it'll fit ok or not!
  21. thats a beautiful looking airgun and no mistake, i think the mk1 had a tyrolean stock and it looked equally stunning. i'd love something like this using an action for a little bit more weight myself! oh, and my gunshop mate had a 98 and was getting great results in .177 with it. i wont mention that he's chopped it in for a walnut pr sport... cheers, wurz
  22. Oh yeah, certainly the most fun you can have with an air gun in my book, and theyre far tastier than rabbit, although a sod to skin.. As already said, from now til early aprils the best time to catch em out and about. I find theyre about from early morning til mid afternoon on one permission, but I've shot them at dusk on another. Another thing to be wary of is taking front on head shots as sometimes the pellet can ricochet off leaving the squirrel stunned but able to move like greased lightning as you try to take a follow up shot, so I generally go for side on head shots, neck or heart s
  23. now thats a proper bargain!! looks lovely mate, fair play to you
