  2. I have a pair comfortable and warm.. Had mine since August and only problem is one has rubbed away a bit, on the inside.. Think one foots slightly bigger than other one.. Just wear thicker socks.. Think these are better than original Muck boots.. I got mine here, think they were £80/£90 ish deffo under a Ton.. http://www.twrelph.co.uk/index.html I wear mine everyday.. At back door slip them on to sort the dogs and straight on the field with them... If its wet I wear them lamping - walking but prefer boots for added ankle support..

  13. Seen rabbits and roe swim... Rabbits crossed a drainage ditch that's normally dry, but with excessive rain fall it was full.. Rabbit hit it hard, swam a foot or two and dog nailed it.. Was on the lamp.. Pre ban just before dusk.. Dog chased two roe, the one it stuck to ,decided to hit the river and headed for wood land.. Made some distance on the swim but the dog nailed it on the open ground..
  14. Its been that way up here, since I have owned my own dogs... Seeing double figures at night and walking in the day time, your lucky to lift one.. They seem to be in decent numbers at night.. Maybe see more in the daytime, when they are pairing up..
  15. My pal had a 3/4 grey 1/4 sal grey.. It was bred out of wolf.. Never made a proper fen dog.. Lad was told, it had no wind.. My pal got him going on the lamp and daytime local.. Caught daytime hares up here, hard to find daytime runnable hares in numbers but could take double figures solo at night. Was decent all rounder rabbits, hares, deer and fox.. I wanted to put him over my old collie type bitch but is was not meant to be..
  16. Give him one or two runs on the lamp.. If he does alright ferret a few sets and leave a few nets off..
  17. You can use photobucket or change scale of picture using paintbrush or editor ..
  18. Sudocrem is good stuff for small nicks & cuts.. Its antibacterial & has a mild anaesthetic property. I use it on stuff the dog cant reach other wise they have licked it off in seconds.. For minor wounds I use wound powder, Septi Cleanse or sudo crem. Big cuts and tares I go to the vets.. Its piece of mind. I would not like to attempt stapling myself. Unless someone was able to show me, how its done and I felt competent. Do lads stapling & stitching use antibiotics just incase ?? Or is it generally not needed, if wounds been flushed out correctly, prior
