  2. Aye you can order from some companies by the pallet load.. I could not afford that or would end with rats .. I was driving from Cumbria to Durham getting a van load for a few lads , till I found that place in Scotland.. Email Gain they tell you nearest supplier.. It is good gear its cheap as chips to for adult food £13 a bag
  3. Did they Jack on the big land Baz or just local.. Bit of a sickner for them all to give in..
  4. I would use it up mate.. Its not bad gear but you will get better and cheaper stuff.. Gain puppy £20 a bag .. Were about in Scotland are you ?? Food supplier at Ecclefechan D&G does gain, Aussie all that stuff ..
  5. Aye remember him posting on some of the old forums.. Was he a brindle dog or was that one bred out of him ?? Border Lad talks highly of Wayne's dogs..
  6. I liked the look of that Bob. Was he minshaw ?? I thought he was coursing stock..
  7. Was that Minshaws Solo on the natural born hare killer dvds Baz ??
  8. Definitely one of the best Books I have read.. Someone put up the link to buy them.. I cant cut and paste my pc is fecked.. I mentioned the book on Minshaw thread, a few lads pmd asking where they could buy it.. Hope I aint broke any copy write issues buy posting pictures.. If I have just delete them , its just to give lads a idea what its all about.. This man donated the book money to charity, which is most commendable. I hope he does another one.. I would like to hear more of his exploits and tales of old..

    Tea

I like yorkshire tea likely drank to much today as i cant get to sleep.. Morrisons sold this "builders" tea it was super strong not sure if its still on the go. Had loose yorkshire tea at witby and it was the best pot of tea i have had. Was in some chippy called the magpie. I hate green tea or fruite tea its just not tea really lol
  14. Should of held out for more... I would of paidd £25
  15. I would pay £400 £500 for a decent lamper.. Hancock charges £250 for a pup.. Get one at 16 months old all sing all dancing would be well worth the coin, If that's your thing. I have never went for adult dogs but would expect to pay more.. My old dogs 9/10 I would pay 1000 pound, If I could clone it.. Still catches twenty odd every time its out..
  16. Aye but don't ask me anything about it lol.. One of the coursing lads will have o shed more light on it..
  17. Coursing dogs fetch more due to potential money from matches and cups. If some one paid 10k for a bitch, they wont sell pups for £100.. Folk are desperate for dogs out of top dogs.. Wont be a enough pups, prices can sore.. I would pay decent money for a lamping dog, if I really thought it was going to be worth it.. Loads are chomping at the bit for a pup off of that crow.. The man could charge his price and lads are more and happy to pay it..
  18. Aye that's bloody true too Its a double edge sword.. Wiped bits out on the lamp & left bits and some other fecker wipes them out.. Hard to take a crop everyone's chasseing the same gear..
  19. Aye seen 6 today.. Problem is you can only kill them once Anyway flushed 4 and they made safe , stupid olde dogs
  20. 90% was great.. Though the first bits, going through the breeds & ferret care, were not on par with rest of the book. I am not keen on these manual types.. prefer tales - reflective stuff. Stuff about Minshaw n hunting in OZ were great.. They book is well worth a read, shame it was not hardback.. Best Book I have read this year - Cant beat Darcy for a photograph tho..
