what is annoying me is who are you to dictate what is rubbish or what raymond1 should keep? or assuming for what purpose he wants them for, when he has already stated which. granted, if he wanted fowl for another purpose then i wouldnt go for the £20 jobs, but if he wants a few fowl to look at whats the problem? if i had a bull x just for catching rats, does that mean i look after or care for the dog any less than someone who lamps 8 foxes a night with it? no. and theres nothing wrong with keeping chickens that supprt themselves financially, there is a recession and money is tight.

couldnt give a rats arse i always thought hobs killed more, but i have a big jill that will try and kill any chance she gets so its not set in stone. -
raymond1 has already said he wants them to look at and for something that pleaes him! they could have feathered legs and a crest like a poland, but if he likes the bird leave it to him! all this good fowl blah blah blah, "good" should be dictated by the man feeding them and for what he wants! granted good fowl are gifted in majority of cases, but do you think that everyone can afford to give fowl away to people on the internet? and i know raymond1 is a novice, so he doesnt have friends in the game to help him out, and raymond1 could be anyone, no offence to him, but your not going to give fowl

went up to charlie nelly 1's on saturday, for a day ferreting on the dales. was quite warm, too warm, but whenever we sat down to have some fodder it went chilly, sods law. not a bad view from the first warren unfortunately whilst i was lying on my belly trying to be artistic, 3 rabbits bolted out the same hole at once and charlie managed to catch one between his legs but it got away. so if i hadn't been arsing around might of got an extra one. not a bad view for lunch, almost makes it worth the climb up there. dog had a cracking day, its like shes in heaven up here. she managed to p

i have seen similarities with what you are saying in a jill ive got here, that was sold to me as sme half blood EU bollocks, but tbh, i saw her, liked her and bought her. she seems to have a lot more "concentration" for want of a better word, she will look around and stare very calmly and intently at everything around her from her elevated view when handled, when the other "ferrets" are wriggling and messing about. when i bring food to the hutch at feeding time, everyone else is bouncing around with excitement, but most of the time she is just calmly looking intently at the carcass of whatever
