    Aye i agree matey, i really feel for you guys, blessed with some nice land to mooch about, but since the 'dales threads' on here, i'm sure it over run with fecking idiots. And it just makes them more hostile to the good lads with dogs. been to some farms and they just shout "no rabbiting here" before you ask anything because they have had that many clowns asking, its not worth the hassle for them. its hard enough getting permo off people i know, farming friends etc, never mind strangers. beginning to regret putting ferreting reports up now from the Dales.....

    Theres a quarry just before threshfield, Swindon quarry, go past the fences that say no access, that's just to keep idiots out, and tell the quarry security guards that Joel sent you, this is genuine now, some good land plenty of rabbs, and them quarry folk are sound as! good luck!

    reading this, i think i had a ferret similar to this die at end of last season, didnt know what the diagnosed term was at the time though. put her out of her misery in the end, wasnt too gutted as she was a poor worker and was going to get the chop anyway. but nice to know what it was and what to do for future if it happens with one of the good workers.
