    Depends on your budget pal. If money is not an issue though I would go for a weihrauch hw95 because they are light, accurate and built with the quality that you would expect from a weihrauch.

    I would get a mint second hand hw97, I have a hw77 and it is reliable, accurate and an absolute dream to shoot. Cant help thinking that the hw97 might be a little bit better though so that would be my choice.

    Not quite sure what this means,? In both 177 and 22 your pellet starts to drop the second it leaves the muzzle. You can shoot past 35 mts with 22. Fair enough ,you are extending the normal hunting range at distances past this, but it can be done if you take the time to become competent. At the mo my 177 is zeroed at 30 mtr and I shoot out beyond that. And a 22 will kill just as well at the same distances. ATB Spot on

    tried one before on my hw77 it worked well , didnt work so well on my mates hw95 though as this is a lot lighter and has more recoil, it seemed to move about a bit to much. well done on the shooting mate.

    Thats good news that they have been caught I just hope the police have got some propper evidence because I think convicting them will be a lot harder.

    Hello mate, I have got a hw77 and I have owned it for about two years and to be honet I think it is a great gun. I have to agree with what you said about a heavier gun being easy to use in certain situations aswell, I offen go hunting with my friend who has a hw95k and you notice the recoil a lot more with this being lighter. I hope this helps in some way. ATB Si
