    Hi lugsy I used to have a rat catcher and they are a great little gun for the money especially for close range work. Sounds like you have got yourself a good deal there hope you have as much fun with yours as I had with mine ATB

    Hello mate, and welcome to the site. I think that if you are looking at spending between 250-300 quid then you should probably get a good quality springer I dont think you wil go wrong with a weihrauch ATB

    Hi Monkey I have a hw77 and it is a very capable gun, I would suggest taking it to your local gun shop and asking them if they would crono it for you if you have got concerns about the power just to make sure that it is pushing between 11&12 ftlbS if it does turn out that your gun is down on power dont worry you can get a new good quality spring for about £20 but if you fit it your self make sure you get the power tested after as you can make your gun over the legal limit by changing the spring if not done correctly.     Hiya mate I dont think that you will go wrong with a hw100 they are a really good rifle, but I would try and have a go a few before you buy and see which one suits you best. Air Arms and Daystate make some really nice rifles that are worth having a look at and I wouldn't over look BSA and theoben either. ATB with the search

    I would start with the cloth tape first mate at least that way you can take it of if you fancy a change ATB

    maybe the mag doesn't aline quite as well as it should and the bolt is just catching on the forward. Hens working perfectly with the magazine out. Hope you manage to get it fixed soon. ATB.
