my mate, my nephew, and i, were talking about music, with my mate being older he said, "arr the good old days at the local discotec" .....i said, "no it's called a night club now"........ and my nephew said to us......."no it's just called clubbing now"...... also years ago when i asked my mum where was my dinner money..she said,"it's on the mantle piece"....you don't here it called that any more.

yes, the kid is ok........but it should have been avoidable, the gorilla gets it, all because the stupid mother couldn't control her kids, i see it all the time, kids running riot in restaurants, eating with there mouths open, screaming the place down because they want something, no manners at all, and the parents do nothing to correct them, they shouldn't have the bloody kids if they ain't prepared to bring up properly....lets face it, i don't cost nothing does it... the only way this will end well, is if the poor excuse of a mother gets charged with negligence and made to pay court costs, an

no, i don't think it would have made any difference, years ago there was another young white kid fell in a gorilla run, and that gorilla (jambo) just sat there stroking the kids back in a concerned way whilst he layed unconscious, and protected the kid from the other gorillas, when the kid came to, his cries scared of the gorillas, jambo led the others away to there pen, then the people got to the kid, but there was no aggression from the gorilla towards the white kid,

smashing him off the walls and throwing around......that's a bit dramatic isn't it, funny how the kid only had a few bruises after being so badly smashed off the walls and thrown about....yes he got dragged about, and yes, it's never gonna look pretty is it....but the bottom line is, if the bloody mother had being paying attention, and did her job properly....we wouldn't be having this conversation and the gorilla would still be eating his banana for lunch.....i hope they do, do the parents for negligence, then maybe more parents will actually look after their kids in a proper fashion.

I'm 100% of the same opinion as you pesky, I'm shocked by the lack of compassion for the poor wee baby getting thrown around by a 400lb gorilla, I hope the wee soul is ok and makes a full recovery after his terrible terrifying ordeal, sad tragic event that could have been avoided if the zoo had proper enclosures!!! and also avoided if the bloody parents had of done there job properly, it's always someone else's fault isn't it..

I agree....i wouldnt trust anyone who didnt have the basic manners to accept a handshake. Ridiculous that it's a difference in culture that's all The same different culture that if one of us refused to shake their hands for whatever reason, they'd be crying about it and playing the race and/or victim card. there was this sign hanging up in my mates loo over 25 years ago, it seems to read true, even after all this time, if you work hard, and do your best, your get the sack, like the rest, if you laze and sod about, your live to see the job right out, the work is hard, the pay is small, so take your time and sod them all, or on your tombstone lightly lacquered, these three words, just bleeding knackered...! the more you seem to do for people, the less your thought of......not just in the work place....in general....
