i find these sort of events rather pointless myself, when an animal fights for territory, food, dominance in the wild, that's fine, that's the way it is, but i do find it a bit disturbing when people get two animals to fight for the entertainment, asia has got a very sad veiw when it comes to being cruel to animals,

Ive just explained it....read it back slowly......by the way people who do genuinely know a lot about something generally dont need to say " i know a lot " You come across as an obsessive fan which is fine each to their own.....i follow West Ham like a lunatic so i know what fanatical support is about......not sure i could be that way with another man but like i say each to their own.......but dont try to mug people off with knowledge that isnt there i could talk about football all day i dont try to pretend im tactically competent though because people who are would see straight through i

that's an unbelievable price difference, is that £40 one second hand? Yes it's second hand, but has been checked and comes with a warranty to that effect. looks like 4 bolts, a pinch bolt and some connectors. Easy peasy. I ordered it Tuesday night and it's here already. at that price you can't go wrong can you, even if it was the wrong one..............you have still got £954 in reserve, to play with........

good choice to join the pond, some times the run down waters as you say, can be better fishing, as you get over hangs, cover, making the fish that bit closer, nice fish you had there, lets hope you get to hook one of the bigger ones ..........and get yourself some new scales................ .....keep us posted mate, Im guna get some dial type ones! Not having that happen again!

to be honest, there are quite a few different ways you could do this with a small bit of imagination, you could use 2 pieces of 2x1 x 24" with a series of angled holes and glue a dowel in each one of about 2" long, fix them vertically on the wall and keep them 3ft apart to take your rods horizontally, also, you know them clips you have in the shed that are used to hold a rake, broom, etc to keep them in the upright position, you could always spread them along a piece of 2x1 and fix that to the wall horizontally and keep the butts on the floor, there's no wrong/right way, the choice is yours at

kanny, you gotta do what you gotta do, you know your body better than the doctor does, my mate had a bad belt of shingles, he was in a lot of pain with it,(like you) he use to take weed for the pain, it really helped him and the only thing which helped him for his needs,I do don't worry lol cannabis works on many different levels for me its not just the pain ...I have to drink a obscene amount of water 6 to 8 litres a day is my target its hard but anyone who's had weed will tell you one side affect is dry mouth..perfect for me as it forces me to drink more then there's the recreational side i

nice one ant, thanks for the offer mate, i may just have to take you up on your offer one day, you've had/got some nice boats there, your rib does look like a bit of fun, i forgot to mention i use to have a mayland 14ft as well, and also a rib, but it only had a 5hp yamaha on it, i ended up selling it to my mates daughter for her to use for close inshore fishing, as i never actually got around to using it, bought it in haste really, where do you launch your boats? where are you based?

my mate used to have epileptic fits when we were younger, quite heavy ones, also scary looking ones for us to see,he could have 1-3 a week, we was told not to hold him down whilst her was having one, but to try and make him comfortable and let him go through it, that was the worst part not being able to do anything physical to help....i asked him, when he has a fit, does he know whats going on, he said, he knew it was coming on, and no, other than it felt like he was drowning, that was it, i can't quite remember how it all came round, but he ended up having a joint whilst he was having a fit,

funnily enough on one of my boats, the spare engine was a seagull, it use to sit up the front in the cabin, i didn't run it up from trip to trip for months, but when i thought it was time to run it, it started up just like that.........amazing good engines they were, i know what you mean about the fumes tho..... but the reliability made up for it

..........if taking it in your early years mucks you up......................for your later years ...............................i suppose...the moral of the story is..................don't smoke it when your younger.....wait until your older ..............that way you will sail through retirement in a blur......

glad you opened another thread on boats instead of hijacking poor old single barrels post, sorry about that sb, my boating started off with a small 10 ft fibreglass dingy with a small seagull engine for inshore fishing, we had some fun in this boat, i eventually sold it to get a bigger boat, so my mate and i went halves and bought his dads boat, a shetland 17 ft with conversions to suit the sea better, my god, was it a heavy boat on land but super stable on the water, we had some good fish on that boat, very memorable, we sold that after a long while as our paths changed, when it was a go

iv'e got mates who smoke the weed, and they have been on it for years, now, when you are talking to them, or ask them something, they have got this vague look on there face, like the lights are on, but know ones at home kinda look, with a long pause between answering, which looks a bit funny actually, and another big thing they all have in common is, they are all, so paranoid about things, paranoid to the sense of nothing really,

A Few Pics From A Fishing Cabin I Built
tillylamp replied to single barrel's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Some real good marks there mate, I have dungeness and aldeburgh closest to me, both well known deep water cod marks, my boat is only moored a few mile from dungeness, had some stonking cod unto mid/late 20's not half a mile offshore. If you fancy a boat trip when I put my new one in the drink give me a shout, should be finished the refurb by end of the summer hopefully. i use to fish dungerness quite alot too, beach fishing was alot better when i was younger than nowadays, so i got myself a boat and used to launch it off of dymchurch, and sail round to dungy, we had some good fishing there, ni
