  1. Regarding the muzzle suggestion, as previously said if you have the dog on the lead you won't be liable if anything happens, but I 'spose it's all a matter of opinion; if something was to kick off, do you think you would be capable of restraining your dog/pulling your dog off another dog? If not then you probably ought to think about getting the dog a muzzle..
  2. There's a local sports ground/major dog walking field near me which has about one hundred rabbits inhabiting it, and they retreat into a thick bush area that lines the field, and several times I have walked along it and seen a rabbit or two in the hedge just sitting there when I'm less than a meter away (like what pheasants do) and I always with I had my catty with me But no chance of getting shooting permission
  3. Definitely firefox! And once you've downloaded it you can google firefox addons and put free extras on it (I SERIOUSLY reccomend AdBlock Plus; it effectively hides all the annoying adverts and you can add other images so you don't see them (like annoying sigs)).
  4. As Phantom said, if you look at some of the work by Pad. E it is great, and if you have an account on airgunbbs you can look at some of the topics he's done; in a couple of them he explains how to do it/how best to do it.
  5. The mods don't get paid for what they do, so it is far easier to just delete such stupid posts.
  6. Then get yourself a shovel, blanket and groundmat and possibly a Thermos lol
  7. If the aim of your permission is to wipe the rabbit population out, then the snow is doing it quite well. And other than sitting tight with your rifle ready to 'snipe' them, I would say have a look at the tracks around your permission so you can find out which runs are most populated so you have a better idea which ones to go at more after the thaw. G'luck.
  8. Talking about fieldfares, saw my first one yesterday, But the most distinctive part of the fieldfare that you could've seen from that angle was the orange/red neck, which should've been hard to miss from that distance..
  9. When in the streets I pick it up, when on a footpath I pick up the nearest stick and flick it into the undergrowth so that way no one treads on it and it naturally breaks down.
  10. Two books, a new razor, a pair of socks (literally!), a new shirt, and a camping hammock. Lol -_-'
  11. Well, the seller has 100% and it does say "100% guaranteed satisfaction when you buy from Sporting-Kent or your money back." so, why not try it?

    New Knife

No, I'm afraid not, and with them being based in Portugal by the looks of things, I'm not entirely trusting. However for it be a scam, all they would be getting is just over 12 pounds, which mustn't be worth it, so maybe they're just not well made, or everything in mainland europe is cheap.. BUT I don't think it is quite that cheap. Oh, and I was also looking at this knife: Walter S.A. Red Wood Folding Knife. It looks quite similar to the one you posted a picture of so I thought I should send a link. All perfectly legal for everyday carry an all, so you'd be fine with the coppers.

    New Knife

VENDETTA EL MORO. I'm planning on getting one of these as, in my opinion, they look great. The only thing that trouble me is how low the price is seeing as it says hand made
  14. As above: BSA Lightning, around £100-£150 secondhand in okay condition.
  15. 'Petition to: deny scots gun law'. There you go.
  16. It does make sense; we are much more "Other Topics" than "Hunting Fieldsports", and I think it was also partly because the new "Hunting with hounds" took our place.
  17. Nice full parliament there "unparliamentary language" lol and that guy then goes on to repeatedly to say "shut up".
  18. Twice - once after morning walk and once after us humans have eaten, so about 7-8ish.
  19. Unfortunately though, you're not allowed to travel along the roads and footpaths unsupervised if you're 15; either someone over 18 has to carry it or you have to effectively be escorted there by someone over 21. So it would be illegal for you to walk there without anyone else present. BASC link.
  20. as above unless you have cross over occurring; my understanding of it is that it's where the scope isn't mounted properly - if you cross hairs are at a slight angle (not at 180 degrees) this will mean that the pellet drop will look like it's down and slightly to one side. I can't explain it very well, and I cant find a diagram for it, but I'm sure someone who is more apt with explanations will post soon.
