  1. Thats funny, I don't get why didn't you mention meat, I hope she's a vegan. It makes it so much funnier that someone who thinks like that tells a farmer to get with the times Also, what was up with her suggesting that you would lick it??
  2. We have a site sponsor?
  3. Amazing that he could do that to himself regardless of its necessity... Not sure if I'm impressed, bewildered or contemptuous  What an odd mixture, eh.
  4. Failed. Nice explosion though, eh?
  5. With 800 acres, yeah, I'd make a plan so you know what the popular spots are and where would be good to lay up, also don't forget about Google Earth. Regarding the cammo: Camo -- necessary or not? With the knife, here what I know: You are allowed to be in a public place with a knife that does not exceed three inches in length and has a folding capability, and cannot 'lock'. However you are allowed to carry larger knives (e.g. hunting knives, filleting knives) if you have a reason. Reasons like hunting, fishing, camping etc are all valid. So basically, yes, you can have it with you when
  6. GIMP. Absolutely free and very user friendly. Personally I've never invested the time to master photoshop but it's popularity must be for something, anyway, GIMP has everything I want photo editing wise.
  7. Done, but you guys realise that if "No" had had an outright victory it would have been everywhere; the public have decided!! But as "Yes" is gonna win, I bet the vote will just silently die and disappear and no one will of heard anything...
  8. So, if this is an acre (feet): 208.71031 X 208.71031 = 43560 then my new permission is 8.17 acres Yay
  9. I got a BSA Lightning, not much, but its as accurate as the shooter (at least in my case ) and I'm hoping, depending on how the hunting goes, to get an AA of some sort, probably an S400 in a couple of months. And although it would be great to practice with someone, I'm not sure if I could get up to Stokenchurch most sundays. So I'm probably going to go down my permission twice a week for a few weeks and hopefully feel confident enough to go for some live quarry soon I love shooting; so much more energizing than squash
  10. They are in the wrong hands And not everyone can buy a Shotgun like they can an Air Rifle, shotgun owners have been checked and verified and so I can see the logic in having more lax regulations providing the gun is legal Yeah I realise that but still... ... ... Ah, I can't really think up a decent counter argument, And borntoshoot I'd really appreciate that, I only got my first permission today so maybe in a months time when I've done some target shooting out to thirty, forty yards; my club only allows 10m for air rifles and my garden is only about 10m too, so when I've done so
  11. I won't the only annoying thing is that theres a different age group playing there every day of the week and the weekends are a no go in the main hours. So I've got to leave before 8am on weekends and leave before 6pm on weekdays, and I'm not going before school, and the ealiest I can get there on a weekday is 4. But its better than nothing, I've just got to read up and buy myself a lamp. Happy days.
  12. Oh really? Wow, thats interesting, just goes to show how our laws regarding air rifles are so clever, after all, they are much more lethal than a shotgun :glare:
  13. It's been a good weekend; my sister finally went to uni and shan't be back for a few months, yay!! Secondly, we got the fourth series of The Wire recently and watched three hours of it last night, and last but not least, I got myself my first bit of permission! Oooohhh yeah!! I mean, its not much, only about 250m x 150m, but it is full of rabbits. It's a few football pitches that are used by the local Henley Boys & Girls Football Club, and on one of the pitches, the amount of scrapings is crazy!! There's one for each m2, and easily big enough for an adult to twist their ankle never mi
  14. Oh well. By the way you realise that being under 18 you have to be accompanied with an over 21 year old when in public places (i.e. roads). Or have I been misinformed?
  15. Copyed from another site; Royal Mail can be used for posting airguns, but send it INSURED!!
  16. I agree, I'm surprised they get anything... but getting a job at under 16 is quite hard if you want anything more than a paper round you have to do before school making you have to get up even earlier (Which is generally concluded as being quite hard for us teenagers in the first place)
  17. Nice pics, Kay, as always And yes, that is a Greater Spotted Woodpecker, a frequent visitor to our peanuts. Oh, and just to clarify, that isn't my pic, just a pic off google. Edit: Damn, Sean beat me, doesn't matter though, I know what it is, he took 36 minutes, so meh! *runs off to cry*
  18. Yeah, but its not really his fault that he's so stupid, in a way; it's more his parents, if you can blame anyone. BUT, if you read the comments, he has three siblings, so that's four children in state-funded education until they're 16, state-funded healthcare, all this, and I bet his parents are on state-funded benefits. And the state gets it's finances via taxpayers, and if they're more of these people, what can we do?! Raise the taxes!!! Hooray......... By the way, just to clarify, that wasn't a go at anyone aside from the eejit in the video.
  19. Very tasty on walks, just grab a good handful and put them in your mouth (Well, duh ), sweet and lots of liquid. And, in my opinion, elder flowers are better to use; lots of delicious elder flower cordial...we never make enough here, it just goes so fast, yum.
