Now I have sat an shouted at the telly enough myself this week, the state of some of them dogs is terrible but let's have a bit of balance here.......the vast majority of working lurcher owners are hardly paragons of virtue when it come to keeping and breeding sub standard mutts !! I will bet my bollocks to a barn dance that lads who really show their dogs some serious graft wouldn't give kennel space to 90% of what most people own. I don't think most lurcher owners have any insight into dogs. I think some know what they know about certain types of dog but little about other types.......I'd class myself as that. What I do think you could accurately say about all dog owners (working or pet) is that they don't cull hard enough, they will keep, sell or move on that which should really be given a bullet.....and there's lots of dogs that should be given that.

Country is awash with money and has been for years, these f***ing ex student union twats in parliament couldn't get a real job but think they can manage a countries finances........they have been f***ing the job up for so long and will continue to do so for as long as people keep voting for them and putting them in a position to do it. There should be money coming out of our ears to look after our most needy but there isn't because they are murdering it away remorselessly !!

My younger daughter who is 13 has got a right bee in her bonnet about showing dogs and I have to honest, I actively encourage her. She is out every day working with my 2 GSPs, training, looking after them, feeding......she reads up about dogs all the time, all different breeds, she is watching handling and training videos all the time......she loves it. She has a good understanding of a working dog should be fit for work first and foremost. She has been watching Crufts and I personally am happy she is into it, could be a lot worse

That Noel Fitzpatrick is some dude mind, blokes a legend. He did some work on a dog for me once and he worked miracles. Love listening to him myself.

I don't know where sully is in ireland (if he is even in ireland at all?) but I could see the attraction of a small quick out the traps dog in areas like I live, very small fields, big block of forestry cover never more than a hundred yards away, bog land and dense rush cover.......I can see where he is going with this in that situation. It's very unlike the big 30,40,50+ acre fields of England. That said, it wouldn't be for me as they wouldn't be versatile enough, by his own admission they are bred to be a bit of a one trick pony but as I say, that may be perfect for the ground he works ?

I don't really follow boxing nowadays, it seems like it's gone a bit like snooker they either have no character or they are clowns. I'd rather watch an old Honeygon, Benn, Minter or even a Bruno fight than anything now days but..... Lad I used to know, nice lad we got on well, got a new job at a different firm driving trucks. Had a night out and made plans with another lad to take him out next morning in his new truck.......so out they go, a bit worse for ware and no doubt this lad was giving it big licks up the lane.......he had a nice girlfriend and a new baby at home. Local farmer pulling out of their drive, dad, mum, 2 kids.......he ran right over their car and killed the whole family.......now this lad knew the lanes well, knew every twist and turn, knew where every drive way was. I agree with you mate, you see them hammering along, with 40 ton doing 60 mph about 2 inches from the arse of the motor in front......they should loose their license forever because if it gos boss eyed its carnage.
