f***ing hell, that’s blown me away a bit that has ! f***ing sad turnout that is. I was just reading he lost his wife a couple of years ago and they have twin boys who are 13 !…..poor little fuckers, genuinely wish those two little lads well.

I’d say if you are digging things up all day, it’s finding something waterproof and sturdy but very lightweight so that you ain’t sweating like a racehorse in 5 minutes ? That British army kit is perfect in this regard.

If you look at the date on the stone you will see it’s 1924. Back then the swastika was a symbol of welcome, fortune, prosperity and distribution of good fortune. It could be found in religious buildings etc everywhere. The clue is in the angle it’s set at.

I don’t think that’s changed at all, I think uptogether blokes have always been able to look after themselves and by default those around them in the home. Agreed that the “traditional” role isn’t so rigid anymore but personally if I hear a bloke saying stuff like “It’s not my place to cook” or similar shit like that I always think he sounds like a bit of a tosser…..

There’s a massive difference between an honest days dirt and sweat and people you can see are just dirty b*****ds all the time mate, you know that yourself. Theres genuinely a number of blokes (and some women) who you see all the time around town who always reek of stale piss, shit, sweat or a heady mixture of all 3 ! Always got the same filthy clothes on, dirty unkept hair……just soapy b*****ds. That ain’t the same as a lad grubby from graft you see about day to day.

I think I read years ago that dogs get energy from fat. I used to get sacks of all the stuff the butcher threw out….never bothered me feeding them big chunks of white fat. One thing I will mention and that I have said before is, we eat a lot of herbs and spices in our dinners…..turmeric, masses of garlick, ginger, cumin and all sorts of other stuff. My dogs get all the leftovers and never need chemical worming, ever ! I may just do a course as a precaution every few years IF I think they may need it….but it’s very rare. I can’t say for sure if that down to what I cook with
