No, I think Truss was spot on and she knew it, but she wasn’t very clever about it…..so I take your point entirely mate. Trouble is, will being clever about it deliver anything meaningful ?…..I hope so but I’ve no reason to feel hopeful if that makes sense.

Very fair point However, immigration is a waste of breath if we don’t elect people who are willing to go far enough to do something about it that actually makes any meaningful difference to our daily lives……it’s no good hearing it, you have to see it and feel it. Are ex Tory’s who thought it was all a jolly good idea in the first place the people to do that ?……

And there would be a massive policy statement !….. Blair changed the nature of Britain and how it is governed fundamentally, he basically did away with the Britain we all knew and imagine we still live in and implemented something else. If reform said “We will repeal every law and act Blair ever put in place and restore Britain to its former relationship between the government and the governed” then that would really be something…..that would go a massive way to giving many of us back the nation we want…… It would put the faceless blob who really rule Britain back in their box

I’ve had a lot of discussion and dealings with local politicians before I moved mate and here is the word “Integrity” !!…….none of them had a f***ing shred of it ! If they did they wouldn’t have been part of the apparatus that betrayed everyone.

It seems sensible because that’s how it’s meant to sound…..in reality it’s not doing away with it…..that is dishonest and dishonesty before you are even elected should have everyone’s spider senses tingling. Let’s say for arguments sake reform can be trusted with digital ID but they only get one term, who’s the next bloke who gets control of it ?…… But you will be electing many of exactly the same people, if that isn’t status quo then what is mate ? It’s fine if people are getting 5% worth of improvement !…..what’s not fine is if it’s a smoke and mirrors job where they raise it 5% and then implement 20% of cuts which in reality raises it 25% !.. Thats what Labour and Tory councils have been doing and we need to have a close look to see if it’s “same people, same mindset” Don’t be disappointed if it is, the jobs f****d anyway so you haven’t lost anything ! lol All you need to do is mark your homework honestly ;)

I don’t want to destroy anything mate, but at the same time we shouldn’t be going “all in” anymore with anyone….we have all been betrayed enough and should all be more than cynical about everyone…..especially when the signs are there. And the signs are there, what clearer sign could there be than asking you to vote for the exact same people that got us in this mess ? Fair, but after so much utter betrayal from all sides, I can’t help but view not doing something so simple as game playing and I’ve had enough of that. I don’t believe a word Anderson says, why would I ? The alternative is to remind ourselves that we should not keep grasping for straws imho mate.

Well mate, I guess there are 497 other registered political party’s to choose from and as far as I can see the thing everyone is voting for come next election is either: Destroy the two main party’s in peoples perception (it’s obviously not in reality if all the same people are back in office just under a different name) Or….. Vote honestly if there is a candidate that aligns with your views knowing it’s a waste but giving you the benefit of a clear conscience Other than that, just don’t bother and let the whole mess go wherever it’s going……which also may not be a bad str

I see Reform have welcomed about 10 more ex Tory councillors into the fold this morning….no doubt this means genuine people who wasn’t part of this catastrophe won’t get a look in and a shot at representing the people. Same people, same mindset ! I also notice they didn’t sign an open letter to the prime minister condemning digital ID !……Rupert Lowe did, James McMurdock did…..but no sign of Farage, Anderson, Pochin or Tice ?? Hhmmmm……..

f***ing loathed students when I was late teens/early 20s……..we used to seek out student house party’s on purpose to cause carnage ! One lot called the police this one night and when they turned up I barricades myself in the khazi with a load of bottles of export and refused to come out until I’d drunk them all.
