It’s almost impossible for anyone to give a really sound answer because nobody knows what the dogs have been at or what they are like….only you know that. But like anything, if you want to conduct an experiment and are prepared to cull hard….end of the day, you know the dogs and you have an idea what you want them for so you will know better than anyone which it should be.

I said years ago when they changed the site a bit and made multiple sub forums that I thought it was too many, too spread out…..I think if it was condensed massively into just two or three sub forums everyone would see a much wider range of topics and it would make for a better, more vibrant site……there’s absolutely no reason fishing, dogs, wild cooking and politics can’t exist on the same page and give people less cumbersome access to a wider range of discussion. Quite the opposite !…..I think my Mrs is amazing and my respect for her and her position as the hub of our family has only increased over the years. I could list all the various things that make me go “wow” every day but the list would be too long and most of it just belongs to me.

I know it seems every thread takes this turn, but the fact is, what some of us have seen in Britain is that nothing happens in isolation….everything is connected. I’m not trying to find fault at all mate, I’m saying I’ve seen this before. Subsidised agriculture is another whole discussion altogether but it’s part of the weaponry of “big state” politics. I dont have the answers mate, but you know those times when you just think “f**k this” and throw a chair across the dance floor for no other reason than to start carnage…..this feels like the right time for that, as in, not this specific event but this period in history. Fair ! Mate, I’m a really simple bloke so I only hope to understand what I see…..what I see is the oldest trick in the book….we used to call it a Long Firm…..government calls it at the moment “the state” So I (the government) come to you (the firm) and I say “I’ll invest in you and give you a few goodies and in return you pay me a return and sign over 70% of your shares but you remain director” Then I start writing cheques all over the shown and living it up, selling off all the decent bits of your firm, coining it in and you have to pay for it…..you mention you ain’t very happy
