I never knew Cole Palmer was a wog ?…… Just looked it up…..his dad is a little half chat midget and he is a big ginger pasty f****r……wonder what the milkman looked like ? Lol
  3. 100%, until my boys were born I was the youngest male member of my entire bloodline but a solitary one for various reasons…..as in, none of my older male relatives were in my life at all. If anything it was motivational.
  4. Outstanding !…….you’re great value mate, I’ll give you that.
  5. Amazing, can’t wait mate ! Lol
  6. I think on route March briefings he has a giant Norman Rockwell style image of you projected onto the wall to motivate lads mate !
  7. You can’t do it like that, it’s show and tell rather than just tell. Its also personality projection and showing people you believe in them and getting them to believe in themselves……that’s my experience anyway.
  8. Don’t understand the context of your reply mate, expand ?
  9. What’s the sweet spot between accepting mediocrity and getting lads to do more than they thought they could ?…… I found this comment massively interesting as I have encountered it with adult football and I have to admit, it just breaks me to the point that I can have absolutely nothing to do with it. I never encountered it at work, maybe because garbage was ruthlessly stripped away…..It left a core of lads (from all sorts of backgrounds and lifestyles) who I saw grow as men, who were probably seen as non starters if you see them in the street but when it came to clearing 10 floors of
  10. @jukel123 Have you ever watched the documentary “Restrepo” mate ? Its American obviously, but it’s a great insight into what a combat officer is dealing with and how he deals with it….it’s not just focused on the officer, but you see enough to get an idea.
  11. I bet he is an intelligent, top class, logical lad and would be of benefit at whatever he did in the world…..it’s the morons who are a pain in the arse mate !
  12. I know from our conversations that your world is no longer immune from all this “caring, sharing, don’t hurt peoples feelings” shit but in my opinion there are not enough honest, brutal conversations these days…..and we are generally weaker because of that. Theres absolutely f**k all wrong with understanding your position within an organisation and still having enough about you to carry out your roles and responsibilities with pride whilst all the time trying to add value….that’s how you succeed in the world, not crying that stuff ain’t fair. The amount of conversations I have h
  13. Best post so far. I take this view, ordinary is easy to come by……there’s a zillion extremely ordinary people out there and one is completely interchangeable with the next. If one of them says “I’ll quit” actually nobody gives a shit. But if you have the knowledge and attitude to know you are better than ordinary, to know that you add value in everything you do then you have to value yourself and be prepared to walk off into the sunset…..but, in my experience there are very few firms who want to loose the people who add value. A lot of firms are “big” firms, not the personal
  14. Basildon & East Thurrock to give it the correct name sir !! Lol My old area, pretty proud about that…..
  15. Too true mate, also, Never wipe your arse with a broken beer bottle……two rules to live by I feel.
  16. All flights on that flight path have been ordered to switch off the Chem pumps because obviously they know you are there as you are being tracked and they know you are on to them mate.
  17. My mistake mate, read one thing but my mind registered something else
  18. Europe is already on it mate…..
  19. Just a small point of order mate, but Britain is more like 70 million people and rising ! Something else interesting is that Germanys population is only a couple of million more than it was pre WW2 but ours is about 20 million more !
  20. We have to get PR mate, you still end up with a load of pricks but at least it’s easier to change things.
  21. The inherent weakness in democracy I think must be us, the voter…..after all, we are the ones electing these total pricks. Ultimately it’s on us. So maybe we either need better leaders who are less democratic or better voters ?…….I’m going for option 2 ! In this day and age you can inform and educate yourself with your phone, in seconds…..there really is no excuse to be surprised or shocked or outraged. There is no excuse to keep making the same mistakes with the same people. Maybe if we don’t start doing better with the things we can control we will end up with someth
  22. I have been listening to an audio book lately and it said you can’t have great leaders in a democracy because everyone ultimately becomes basically career, box ticking politicians/pen pushers who are capable of nothing……they lack the dynamism to make anything better. I think there is a point there…..not saying it’s the way to go, but it’s a point worth considering.
