Because they are a pure pain in the arse would be my guess mate.

I had to have enhanced DBS when I worked in schools and also to coach football. I got my ticket for a rifle no bother when I was still in uk. None of my shenanigans as a younger bloke came up or made a blind bit of difference, in fact I forgot some and the firearms officer reminded me and even had the mug shot with him. No bother, they are pretty sensible about this stuff mate.

That will all be well expired now mate, won’t matter a f**k I wouldn’t think.

Maybe because he didn’t want to play in a style where they were any use in the big picture ? I think he played to frustrate and for moments…..that’s what it looked like anyway. And to be fair, it worked, the most dynamic team in the competition had to work really hard and get everything right to beat us. Toney and Watkins only work with space in behind or space in and around the box, so to be fair when he did bring them on is when games had opened up towards the end and that also worked. It was all locked up way too tight before, hence Kane dropping in deep to receive

A big tub of beef stew x casserole with carrots, onions, courgettes, cabbage, chard, kale, potatoes and pearl barley. The liquid is beef stock, gravy granules, a little dark soy, tomato purée, loads of black pepper, fresh thyme, basil & parsley. …..started on the hob and then in the oven for 2 hours, turn off, leave to cook in its own heat for a few more then 8pm tonight a quick reheat and bingo ! A big hot bowl of every vitamin and mineral you will need.

The film of Trumps VP’s book is very good, it’s called Hillbilly Elegy and it’s his life story……

I can’t mate, especially down here in the republic…..it’s mental to see someone spouting off about “up the ra” and the old enemy and 800 years and all that caper while sporting a Liverpool or Man Utd jersey……! Absolute clowns ! League of Ireland has made great strides and continues to do so despite very little help from anywhere, it’s good real football…..you have a great team on your doorstep, my lads played against their youth academy, great set up ! Great coaches, great facility, great young players……but your small town napoleon who only ever came close to the troubles on th

True…..in as much as they were in the top 1% along with everyone else who was better at football than the other 99% And that is really the truth of the matter, but the point remains, if they wasn’t here that would be English kids getting a shot and a place in the top 1%

Ahh, you know yourself most of these pundits are just saying stuff for effect mate…..same as the papers, it’s total f***ing nonsense half of it. It wasn’t unlucky, it wasn’t we lost to one in off the arse, it wasn’t a disallowed goal that should have been given….we just wasn’t as good as the other team, period. If we want to be better than these teams then we should go and be better, not cry after the event……excuses and football are a bad mixture.
-
I’ve seen that, and my first thought was “if they wasn’t here it would be all English kids getting their shot” No spades when we won the World Cup
-
I was getting plenty off the Micks last night but I ruined them. I wouldn’t mind, at least the jocks support their own teams…..the paddy’s all support English teams the daft c**ts ! Lol Nothing puts sick in my mouth like seeing a Man U or City shirt in rural Ireland ! It’s only €15 to get into their domestic top flight games !!!…..screamers !

True mate, I’m just saying I don’t think loosing that is too much of a big deal, different if they had come out and absolutely flattened us but they didn’t. Margins mate, I said ages ago I didn’t think I we would deal with Spains intensity and little things like them aggressively wanting to win the ball back in a nothing situation on the half way line at like 85 minutes is the difference between winners and also rans. Little margins like that and like goal line clearances decide these things, some stuff I have read elsewhere is like we got absolutely battered and we just didn’t.
-
Don’t forget, we were the thickness of the goal line and Olmos head away from winning that, if either of those headers go in we’d be singing a very different song today. Great game to be fair

I actually agree with most of that, lower league football in Britain is way more enjoyable (and affordable for your average fan). The premier league maybe the hardest league in the world, but it puts way too much other bollocks on a level with or indeed above the actual football……the money is so big that the game itself suffers. Bellingham has managed his career brilliantly so far, young players need to play and they need to play in technically well educated teams where the emphasis is on the sport itself and I think he took himself to places where he was able to do that. I

I agree completely with that mate, I have loved watching Spain this tournament…..it’s how I like the game in a nutshell. But it’s not just been them, Austria high intensity style was great to watch….so many teams showing real courage in their play, fantastic
