Here is my saluki grey x whippet bitch misty, she is coming on well now I took them today when me and rew went for a mooch. We only got 2 runs on some big rabbits and they both made good their escape, they will be there for next time. It would of been nice to have something to show for but it was a nice day all the same Misty is starting to get there fitnes wise now. And here she is with rews 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch David

david2363 dont get me wrong, i would never swear at my mum and do avoid swearing in front of her but if i do she doesnt mind. I dont like doing it due to haveing alot of respect for her. And to be honest looking back on that post i did go overboard..... I just got carried away and jumped in with both feet when swansea jack remarked. Dont listen to everything thats on the news There is alot of deer up that way. I doubt that the numbers are being wiped out. I agree that taking big numbers of deer for profit is a shame. There is nothing wrong in my personal opinion about running the odd deer for the table. David

Getting permision to run them in the forestry may be a problem, They will allready have people shooting them to control the numbers. They will come out to graze on the fields. Just go early morning or in the evening and have a mooch around the out skirts of the wood. It wont be hard to find where they feed David

oldskool, im not certain on this but i think over there you can run deer anywhere as long as its day time and you have permision from the land owner. So get out there check out any decent woodland and if it holds deer give the farmer a knock on the door
