Fallow does arnt really much of a danger to a good saluki cross that knows its job David Edited to add they arnt much of a danger to any dog that knows its job

They wont be much use mate, the mesh ideally wants to be big enogth for the rabbits heads to get through and the ferrets. Are they pea netting tied onto rings? I think the reason soem ferreters use small mesh in oz is because the climate alows rabbits the breed all year round so they bolt alot of small young rabbits. David

Mine is only 11 weeks old so lead walking isnt a problem at all. I want to get it done now to save hastle in the future. It sticks out abit aswell so deffinatly needs removing. Its just i dont no if i should pay another 45 to geth the bone from the dew claw on the other leg removed aswell. The vet said it was fine untill i asked if it could possibly grow back and she then said it will probably grow back so getting it removed would be best. I cant see it growing back so ill probably just get teh dew claw removed and leave the bone. David

My pup has had a dew claw grow back. The vet wants £45 per claw for an op to get it removed. Im deffinatly going to get it removed but what iv noticed is that on the other leg the bone for the dew claw is under the skin will this grow back aswell? The vet said it could but my dad seems to think this could just be a ploy to get me to pay £90 to get the claw and the bone on the other leg removed. What should i do? Get just the dew claw removed or cough up 90 to get the bone on the other leg removed aswell? I cant see it growing back and the vet didn't mention that it could untill i asked. Dav

Thanks all She is about 16 and half inch to the shoulders. She is a pleasure to kennel She is fed 4 times a day. She gets 3 feedings of meat and bones and then her last feeding of the day is mincemeat, veg and rice. She gets a mixture of rabbit, beef, lamb, chicken, tripe and sometimes turkey all raw. All my dogs are on raw meat now and I really am surprised with the improvement in condition and over all health of the dogs. It must be good because the pup is growing really well and is out side with no heater/ heat lamp and still keeps her weight up and is growing very fast. I wont ever go b

22 air rifle, people are actually out there shooting red deer with air rifles That one that got found dead was probably kids. Why would anyone want to run a deer with a dog then dispatch it with an air rifle? Its much much quicker and more humane to use a knife, plus its easyer to carry around. They make it sound like everyone who runs deer with dogs has no respect for the quarry, Which certainly isnt true. David
