Whin,WHY do you always try to pick holes in peoples posts? I can see Martyn's point,why should the young un's not look upto the likes of Tomo? Excellent result you mention there Doxhope ,your one of not too many i'd say who's reached the milestone of a 100 bunnies? I've really enjoyed the thread,shame we don't see too many like it? I'm over the hill nowadays but still like to see the younger generation out there doing the business with their hounds All the best PP.

Tomo/Ginny Spinner,now you've caught a hundred rabbits in a night will you attempt to better that if circumstances give you that opportunity? and do you have anymore ground where that kind of number could be taken? we are now in mid-winter and rabbits won't be as abundant as late Aug early Sept i wouldn't of thought or are they? HH what would you class Jack x Visa offspring as ? Minshaws or plain old lurchers ? and if any make the grade and breed on in future either at stud or as a brood will people tearm their offspring as Minshaws or Lurchers ? If they make the grade would you and others consider them as Saluki x's Maxhardcore? I reckon they wouldn't be an eigth Saluki in them but i bet if they could "flush" a daytime hare or two then thats what they'd be called? All the best PP.

NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL A CATCH ,over 1/2 a moon and not perfect conditions,just goes to show with the right dogs and the right men behind them just what can be done ..this may seem a tad "off track" after amassing those but were either or both of the dogs still capable of continuing or was it a case of total exhaustion and that was it no matter what? Not really want to stir here but if your game is lamping UNFIT and you reckon rabbiting is for beginners then what is your quarry? Lamped hares are pish easy,deer are even easier and foxes well every tom,dick and harry are catching plenty of them so unless you have something other than what i've mentioned then the humble little bunny is as good a match as any imo? Dextrose/Maltodextrin & Glucose powder are all pretty much identical..any chemist,health shop ie:boots,superdrug,holland & barret etc WILL sell it,about £2 for a box .All the best PP.
